Dad?

"Daniella, do you have a place to stay or.....?"

"Uhm no. No, I don't" I looked down sadly.

I knew this plan was stupid, but my mother insisted on me coming here and bonding with a man who has no idea I even exist.

"Would you like to stay here tonight and then call your mom in the morning and work things out." He suggested.

"Oh no I don't want to intrude." I said and stood up to begin collecting my things. "I'll just find a cheap motel for the night.”

"I don't think that's a good idea." Tony spoke up. "I mean it's not safe out there and something bad can happen."

"I can protect myself"

"Maybe if you had two good hands, we'd believe you. Plus we aren't stupid." Mike said.

"Please stay....."Jaime pouted.

Let's see I could stay here and talk to my dad or I could go out in the dark and risk my life to find a motel that I probably can't afford.

"Fine." I sighed and sat my bags down.

They all smiled. I bet any girl would die to be here right now, and all I want to do is leave.

"Are you hungry?" Mike asked walking to the kitchen area.

"Uhm no, I think, I'll just go and get some sleep."

"I'll show you where you'll be sleeping." I nodded and followed Vic to where the bunks were.

"Here it is" He pointed to the middle bunk. "The one above it is mine, and the one across yours is Jaime's. I apologize if I accidentally kick you, it's tricky getting up there The restroom is the door over there." I nodded and set my stuff in the bunk.

"Uhm if you need anything let us know and yeah, goodnight."

"Night." I said and waited for him to leave. I changed and climbed into the bunk.
