Dad?

“Jacob where are we going?” I asked as I noticed Jacob going the opposite way to the house.

“The guys wanted me to come help them with something really quick. It shouldn't take too long.”

“Hmmmmm okay” I said. Why do I have a feeling that they're up to something.

After a few minutes we were parked in front of Jaime's house, but only Tony’s car was here.

“Do you want to come in with me? He's not here and you can probably raid the fridge and pantry.”

“I guess.” I said and hesitantly got out and walked towards the house.

Its okay he's not here.

Tony's POV.

“Hey nice of you to finally join - hey Dani.” I said looking at Jacob with wide eyes.

“Hey weirdo. I'm just here for food.” she said and walked towards the kitchen.

“Dude, what is she doing here, she's not supposed to be here.”

“You didn't tell me that all you said was that you need help.”

"Fuck okay. We'll take care of moving the stuff out while the other guys finish out back.” I said as I quickly texted Vic Jaime, and Mike.

Dani’s POV-

Tony and Jacob argued a bit before both running upstairs and bring boxes down and setting them outside. Weird. Soon they moved from upstairs to downstairs and then to out back, where I was “not allowed”, because that doesn't sound suspicious at all.

With nothing really to do, I soon found myself retracing old steps up to the room I once called mine.

I slowly opened the door and was surprised that everything was how I had left it. As I walked around it was like a dam breaking, all the memories of what once was came rushing back.

I picked up a picture of Jaime and I. It was taken after I had first moved in. We were having a father-daughter night. We planned it so that we could take some time to learn more about each other, but instead we were consumed by multiple seasons of Criminal Minds on Netflix.

"That was a good night.” Jaime said scaring me.

“Sorry.” I sat down the picture and turned to leave.

“Don't be this is your room, I left it just the way you had it.” he sighed.

"Do you mind coming out back with me? We need to talk..."

“Uhm.. I- I was just about to leave.”

“Please…” he said. I nodded and followed him to the backyard.
