Dad?

Some of you already know who those 4 people are. Yup, it was Mike, Vic, Tony and Jaime. I pushed my way to the front of the circle that had now formed around the arguing members.

“Dude what the hell?” Jacob said as he walked past me and stood next to Tony.

“What the hell? Why don't you guys tell me what the hell is going on here?” Jaime yelled.

“What the fuck are you talking about? It's a party man, we were all having fun until now”

“I know what a party is. What I mean is what the hell is she doing at this party and why is she drinking?” Jaime said pointing directly at me. “She doesn't belong here.” I froze.

All eyes were now on me, waiting for me to say something. My mind was racing, but I couldn't form any words. So I did the first clear thing that came to mind. Run. I ran through the crowd and out the door, ignoring the calls of my name.

I just kept running, and I ran until I couldn't run anymore. I had ran all the way to the beach.

I bent, over trying to catch my breath, when the alcohol and food from the previous hours decided to leave my body.

So there I was, a complete mess. Running from confrontation only to end up at a beach crying and throwing up. If only mum could see me now.

I heard footsteps followed by someone hold my hair back and trying their best to comfort me.

“Here”. Tony said handing me a bottle of water. I rinsed my mouth out and tied my hair up before turning to Tony.

“You okay?” he asked. I shrugged. We both know he wasn't just asking about me getting sick.

I tried to take a few steps before stumbling and almost falling. Thankfully Tony was there to catch me.

Tony’s POV.

“I got you.” I said carrying Dani to the car. The ride home was quiet, both of us deep and thought not really knowing what to say.

Jaime and Ashley had shown up together and were too busy sucking faces and getting drunk to even talk to any of us, so we weren't too worried about him seeing Dani.

Dani hadn't seen him all night but when Jaime saw her on his way out, he freaked. He grabbed me, and starting asking all these questions, and stopped when he came to the realization that Dani was actually there.

It was nothing new to see Jaime freak like this about topics related to his daughter or to see him this drunk.

Ever since she had first left, Jaime was on a downward spiral with his so called ‘true love’ Ashley. I hope that seeing Dani back will somehow spark something in him, bring him out of this self destructive phase he's put himself into.

I'm in a mood where I just want to write so I'll be posting a few chapters today or very soon.
