Dad?

"Can you take me to uhmm 200 west main st.” I asked.

”Sure thing.”

After many excruciating hours of being stuck on a plane I was finally making my way towards the venue, to meet him.

I don’t understand why I must spend time with him. I've asked my mother multiple times and the only thing she says is that ‘Oh I just want you to meet him and bond.’. I can tell she’s lying when she tells me this. If she really wanted me to meet him she would have actually told him about me way before, but she didn't.

”That will be $25 ma'am” The cab driver said bringing me out of my thoughts. I nodded and gave him the money before grabbing my bags and getting out.

This is it I’m actually going to meet him. I took a deep breath and began walking closer to the venue. I tried to focus on the music of one of the supporting bands, but my thoughts won my attention. What if he doesn't like me? What if he sends me back? What is my mom going to think?

When I came to the door I opened one of my bags to get my ticket and VIP pass out along with the letter. I quickly found the letter but a problem soon arose.

”Shit. No this can’t be happening.” I said now frantically searching through my bag for the envelope with the tickets. It was no where in sight.

”Well that’s just fucking great” I sighed and walked towards the side of the building and leaned against the wall.

Well there goes my chance of meeting him. Fuck what am I going to do. I don't have anywhere to fucking live, I don’t have enough money to go back home, I don’t even know where the closest bloody hotel is. Yup that just proves how fucking stupid I am, I can’t do anything right.

I grew angrier by the minute until I finally snapped and punched the wall. I screamed in pain before clutching my hand to my chest and falling to the ground, finally letting the tears fall.
