Dad?
I Don't Hate You
Jaime's POV
She hates me...
I lay in my bunk as her words repeated over and over again, making me feel worse by the second.
I couldn't take it anymore so I got up and tried to distract myself. Which was hard considering I was on a moving tour bus surround by sleeping people so that ruled out a lot.
I sat in the back lounge and played a game on my phone, but my thoughts wouldn't stop, so I looked out the window and let them be heard.
She hates me. My daughter hates me, because I wasn't there for her. I wasn't there to see her take her first steps, say her first words, sing her to sleep , or pick her up from school. I wasn't there for 15 years of her life, and it kills me. I just want her to give me a chance.
Dani's POV~
I woke up and stared at the top of my bunk, before checking the time.
2:27, great .
I sat up and rubbed my eyes, and only then heard faint crying.
I slipped out of my bunk and found myself in the back of the bus watching Jaime cry.
"Jai-Jaime, what's wrong?" I asked from the doorway, making him jump.
"It's nothing, just go back to sleep."
"Nope, not until you tell me what's wrong." I said and sat next to him.
"What-what you said earlier got me thinking, that's all."
"Thinking about what."
"How I've missed so much of your life and that you hate me" he whispered.
"You have missed a lot, but I don't hate you. I hated who I thought you were. You actually seem like an amazing person, and I want you in my life." He smiled and hugged me tight.
"I love you Daniella."
"I love you too, dad." I've never seen someone smile as big as him after I said those words.
After that we stayed up and watched Disney movies......................
