Victoria's POV~

Her cries echoed throughout my mind slowly driving me insane. My little girl was upset and I couldn't do anything about it.

Did I make the wrong decision? I should have told her the truth. I shouldn't have sent her there alone.

"Dammit." I leaned back and cried.

"Hey, you did the right thing sending her off. She's with her dad, right? He'll keep her safe. If you want, I can go and check on her."

"No, you're right, she has them, she just needs to get use to them, I guess." She has to get use to being around them, and also not having me around. I wish there was something I could do.

Dani's POV~

"Go ahead and have a seat and the doctor will be right in to give you the results. I hope you get the answer you're hoping for. " the nurse smiled and left.

Oh boy. This is actually happening. I smiled as the doctor came in.

"So, the father of Daniella is Mr. Preciado. Now since she was in fact born here in America it saves us a lot of time."

"Wait, I was--I was born in London, not here." I said confused.

"Uhm no........you weren't. You were born in San Diego. Now Mr. Preciado all you have to do to have custody and change her last name is sign these adoption papers......." I zoned out after that.

What else did my mother lie about?
