Viola Lion

Viola Lion I////I: Chapter 2

I bobbed my head to the music streaming from my headphones. I was absolutely in love with Young Forever by The Ready Set. It's not like all the other songs labelled Young Forever. This one is actually original and not over done. I felt a hand on my shoulder, causing me to jerk and rip my headphones out. I turned to see bad boy Oliver Sykes and his gang of idiots known as Matt Nicholls, Andy Glass, Ronnie Radke, and Dan Clermont. "What're you listening to fag?" Oliver hissed at me. "Music." I answered, turning around curtly. Oliver turned me around. "Look at me when I talk to you, Twat!" He aggressively spat at me. I rolled my eyes before turning around again and gathering my stuff. I shoved them in my Anthem bag before standing up. I looked at Oliver, annoyance clear as day. "If I'm a 'fag', why the fuck are you talking to me?" I asked him. He stuttered incoherently. I shook my head and caught a glimpse of Caldwell. My mood brightened and my chest swelled up.

"Cald!" He looked at me and smiled. He waved me over to him. I smiled at Oliver before rushing over to Cald. "Hey, Cald!" I exclaimed, engulfing him into a hug. I looked up at his flushed face. Cald looked away and coughed into his closed fist. "So.. What's up with them?" Cald asked, pointing to Oliver and his idiots. I scoffed and rolled my eyes, untangling myself from Caldwell and crossing my arms. "They were messing with me because I'm gay." I answered. I heard him chuckle before he forced me to look at him and not the ground by my chin. Just as I realized how close our faces were when he planted his lips gently on mine. A collection of gasps rose over the room as Caldwell placed his hands on my cheeks, which have been burning for some time now. My eyes were wide as I brought my hands gingerly up to my face.

Caldwell pulled back swiftly. He looked up at Oliver who's face I couldn't see since I was too stunned and embarrassed to look at at anyone. I cupped my face as Caldwell began to speak, his accent heavy. "It's not high school anymore. Grow up! This is college for Christ's sake! I'm sure half the school isn't heterosexual. Deal with it and stop acting like 15 years old." Cald grabbed my handed and dragged me out of the tense room.
