**Aleah POV**

Is this boy out of his fucking mind?I thought to myself. However, hearing him call me "darling" made my heart pound so hard against my chest that I was grateful for the noise of our guitars and the other various sounds around the music room, so he couldn't hear it. "It's Aleah..." I said, finally finding my voice, yet still sounding blatantly confused.

"Let's start over?" Tony whispered close to me, before pecking me gently on the forehead. "I'm Tony Perry, and I was only a dick because I was pretty miserable about seeing you with that Kellin guy, and as cheesy as this sounds, the moment I saw you and heard you singing Pantera in the parking lot, I've thought you were the most perfect girl I've ever seen..."

"T-This is... some kind of joke, right?" I stuttered out. Tony was amazing, and his guitar skills were years beyond mine. I wanted to sit and talk to him forever, but at this point I had no idea where to go with this conversation.

**Tony POV**

Unfortunately, the talk between Aleah and I faded quickly, and we were both playing our guitars separately. Much to my surprise, our random strums began to meld together and soon we were in perfect sync without having spoken a word to each other. It was a perfect few minutes until the bell cut our impromptu jam session short. "Walk you to class?" I asked her, practically begging for more time to talk with her.

"You mean the class you still don't know how to get to?" Aleah chuckled out. Before I could answer, the veil of happiness around us was pierced by a painfully high pitched screech from behind us.

"SMURFYYYYY!!!" Was yelled Aleah's friend Kellin along with some pink-haired girl yelled, running up behind us and hugging her. I stood in silence, feeling invisible, yet grinning to myself as I saw "You want in... To get under my skin" (Walk, Pantera) tattooed in cursive across her right forearm. Could she get any better?

Finally, I cleared my throat and earned back her attention. "Oh, this is Tony, this is his first day and we have every class together so I'll be showing him around..." She was so cute when she blushed like that.

**Aleah POV**

Kellin and Mel instantly caught on to my behavior and started a chorus of hums, giggles, and perverted faces. "Oww!!!" They howled simultaneously at my elbows in their guts.

"We uhh... This is our class, Tone." Urgh!! I'll never get close to him if I don't learn how to fucking talk to him! I thought, making a frustrated face that clearly confused him. Like a perfect guy guy like that would be interested in an ugly whore like you! My thoughts screamed back, bringing tears to my eyes and forcing one down my cheek. I put my head down and dashed to my usual seat in the back corner, hoping Tony wouldn't see. I was vaguely aware of him sitting down in the seat next to me, and I was grateful that he let me have my space, because by now he clearly saw what had happened.

"Oooh, looks like Little Miss Emo found herself a little boyfriend, didn't she? Does he help you clean your razors off before you whore around?" Jordan laughed as if we were having a perfectly normal, light-hearted conversation.

"Mr. Monroe, I'm going to the bathroom." I said as I passed him in the front, taking all my things with me, heading for the front door without awaiting a response.
