**Vic's POV**

Tony showed up while we were getting set up, and Jaime let him in. "Hey, good to see you," he said as he opened the door.

"Yeah, you too!" they did the bro-shake thing before Jaime led Tony over to where we were practicing.

"Brought your guitar?" I asked him with a grin, seeing the case in his hand. Tony was a decent guy, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit – okay maybe a lot – jealous. I had a crush on Smurfy since we were fourteen, when she used to be brunette Aleah. Then Mike got her, so I kept my distance because he was my brother, but now she's living with some guy she met the same day! I'm glad she's happy and everything, but I wish more than anything that she was happy with me.

"You know it, dude!" Tony grinned as he walked toward me. I gestured toward our extra amp, and he got himself set up. "Just so you know, Ali's gonna have Melissa drop her off when she gets off work, which will only be in like two hours."

"BRO!" Jaime yelled abruptly, "You confusee me so much with that! Get with the nicknames!" He tried really hard to be serious, but ended up laughing hysterically.

"Sorry, haha, I guess she's just always gonna be Ali to me." Tony had a strangle look on his face every time he said her name. It was a mixture if happiness and sadness.

"Hey," I said with a grin, striking a D chord loudly, "let's jam!"

I'm sorry, I'm on my way to a job interview (Ikr, you're just so proud) but Melly said she will if you want.

I stood outside my work waiting for Melissa, when Cara showed up. "Hey, whore. How's life with my leftovers? Has he had sex with any other girls yet? Oh, is that why you're all alone right now? He's off with his other, hotter side-chick right?" He chuckled as she trotted over in her ridiculous heels.

"How dare you call me a whore when you show up dressed like that?" (Imagine the white shirt see-through so you can see the bra underneath) I smirked.

"Would you like to say that again, sweetheart?" Cara giggled, but her words were dripping with venom.

"I said you look like a goddamn stripper! And don't make it sound like dating Tony after you is a bad thing… I know that there's always going to be one ex I'll never have to worry about him getting back together with." I grinned evilly, proud of my words.

"You better watch you're fucking mouth!" She mumbled as she gave my shoulders each a weak, prissy shove, not even making me budge.

"What, are you a Fred Durst wannabe now?" she gave me a confused look, and I realized Cara was even more lame than I thought. She just rolled her eyes, then out of nowhere made a move to backhand me. I dodged her hand, but her nails cut my cheek a bit. "Baaaad move, sweety." I mumbled before landing a solid punch in her nose. I thought she was going to stay down, but instead, she kicked off her heals and came at me again and landed a left hook.

"Why don't you drop dead, you emo slut? Tony deserves someone that doesn't cut herself!" Now she's done! my thoughts were filled with venom.

"FUCK YOU!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I lunged toward her, tackling her to the ground. I kneeled with my knees on her wrists and my feet in her gut. I held her hair with one hand so she couldn't move, then began punching her over and over again in her pathetic little face. Once I was satisfied that I'd completely beaten the shit out of her, I slammed my Doc Martins once into her side before stepping away.

"Congratulations…" I looked up to see Mel standing there, staring. Her face looked cold and disappointed.

"Melly…" I gasped, "how long her you there?"

"I saw everything after 'bad move, sweety' and I recorded the whole thing."

"If you heard what she said to me then why are you glaring at me like this wasn't justified?" I asked her quietly.

"Next time you decide to beat some bitch to a pulp, you better remember to fucking call me first!" She finally grinned at me and I ran toward her and threw my arms around her neck.

"I love you, Melly! I thought you were mad at me…"

She hugged me back, then responded once we separated, "Well, I was a bit upset that you moved in with some guy you just met without talking to me, but I got over it." she smiled at me, and I knew I'd never have to worry about losing my best friend.

"Just one thing…" I mumbled, "why did you feel the need to record it?"

"To show the guys. It was fucking hilarious, honey!" we both began laughing hysterically, then I noticed Cara was still laying in the same spot.

"Oh, shit…" we called an ambulance, and once they arrived, I was taken to the police station for questioning. Mel followed to bail me out ASAP. I also made her promise not to tell the guys.
