"Get your ass out of bed right now Aleah, and get to school so I don't have to deal with you!" My mother spat her words with such poison that it brought tears to my eyes. Not because it hurt me, but because I was disgusted with the fact that such a... monster actually existed in humanity.
Without speaking a word in response, I quickly got dressed, and did my hair and makeup. Without eating breakfast, I brushed my teeth, and waited for my ride.

*A short while later*
"Still haven't gotten gas, Smurfy?" Kellin yelled from the open passenger side window of my best friend Melissa's car.
"Medusa (the nickname we gave my mother) refuses to give me an allowance and I don't get paid till next friday!" I yelled back, sticking out my tongue playfully. My mother wouldn't give me any money unless I had straight A's, and my job at Hot Topic didn't pay enough to fuel my Jeep, so Mel had been driving me around.
"Ladies, ladies, you're both pretty," Mel chucked, "now can we get to school before we're ALL late?" We all laughed and I got in the car at my usual spot, Kellin's lap. We were close enough friends that it wasn't awkward at all, and it was the only available place in the car.

*Tony's POV*

I turn around to a bright red sports car blasting Pantera pull into the parking lot. Then the door opened and out stepped the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen. Even though this was the first time I'd ever seen her, I was infuriated by the fact that she crawled out off some guy's lap. I really needed to calm down, so I headed over to a grassy area to listen to music until I had to get to class.
