Angel

I thought back to our wedding day, I drove up with the boys the night before. We had decided to invite her family, she also decided to ask her uncle to give her away. I remember after the wedding ceremony Rose's oldest brother came up to us. "My baby sister is growing up, I was scared you wouldn't invite me. After you changed your name and stopped talking to everyone but mom I didn't know if I'd ever get to see this day I didn't even know if you hated me for the families actions." He said and stood beside Rose, she stood up and hugged him with a smile and he rubbed her back.
"Jesse, I wouldn't hate you for our families horrible ways. Besides, you left the year before everything started." She said to him pulling away from the hug and they both sat down.
"I'm sorry I didn't try to stop it or do anything in your favor." He said to her looking sincerely sorry.
"It's actually fine, if you had you wouldn't be at my wedding right now." She said smiling then looked around and pouted.
"What's up?" Me and Jesse asked at the same time.
"Jess looks bored." She paused then her face lit up, "Hey, Jesse?"
"What devious plan do you have for me now?" He asked sighing but smiled showing he actually wanted to hear this.
"You see that girl over there who looks like upset and bored?" She asked her brother.
"Yeah, she's beautiful. What's her name?" He asked.
"That's Jess and I am telling you if you go over there and talk to her and ask her to dance, you're going to love me. Now go do it, I wanna see you both with huge genuine smiles." She said standing up and pushing her brother towards the girl I just barely met as Jessica, Rose's first and only ex girlfriend.

I remember that day so well because I was extremely happy and it was the week after she had gotten the wings tattooed on her back. Also, because she looked extremely beautiful. I brought myself back to reality to see Rose hugging her knees and shaking, I could hear her soft whimpers and I moved to her rubbing her back cradling her into my chest. "Babe, you're okay.....you're okay." I whispered till she calmed down enough to talk. "What's wrong baby?" I whispered the questioned to her.
"I'm just really scared that my band will mess up or no one will like us." She admitted, her voice shaky.
You'll do fine and I'm sure you'll gain fans." I reassured her rubbing her back and smiling at her. She nodded and wiped her eyes but didn't look convinced. "Find a way to relax, I'll finish packing for you and then I'll make us dinner. Go, relax and get the tour out of your mind and just relax." I said standing her up, she nodded and left me to pack her up.
When I finished with packing her up and dinner there was rapid knocking on the front door. I opened it to be greeted by a happy Vic. "I've got some amazing news for you and Rose." He said happily and walked to the kitchen to find Ben in his baby chair and Rose putting Andy in the other.
"What's the news?" I asked him.
"Marlie and Mike broke up." He said.
