Drella Here

She Could Make Hell Feel Just Like Home

I looked up again. It was here. After three long months he's back in San Diego. Three months is a long time. A quarter of a year. I'll never get that back. Maybe Mom was right. No, how can I even think that? We went twelve years, I'm sure we can go three months.
"They'll be here in a minute," Jess said brightly. I've gotten to know her while they've been away. She's actually quite sweet and not at all Marilyn Manson like.
I saw fans screaming with their handmade signs outside. People were coming out from the flight now. I saw one of the tech team and started to feel a little excited. I have missed him, not that I would admit it. It was his job to miss me. I saw Jaime walk out and Jess was already gone from my side. Tony followed him and so did Mike.
Then finally Vic. He pulled his case behind him. I looked at him. He hair looked a little shaggier and he looked tired. But he was wearing his trademark skinny jeans and a hat. His one hand was buried deep in his pocket.
He looked up and spotted me. I saw a grin flash across his face and I ran over to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he took my waist. I crushed my lips down onto his and kissed him roughly. Vic kissed me back with ease and his arms around my waist tightened.
"Hey," I said breathlessly.
"Hey Ella," he replied. I saw him look down and I forced his chin back up with my finger. I pecked him once more on his lips and took his hand. "Did you miss me?" Vic teased as we started walking.
"Nope," I lied.
"Really?" he asked disbelievingly.
"I've been busy with . . . you know, stuff,"
"What stuff?"
"Art. Housework?" I tried.
"You, housework? Do you even know how to work our vacuum cleaner?"
"Shut up," I complained playfully.
"I bet I'll go home and we'll find illegal immigrants hiding in the trash you've left," he played.
"Do you want me to put you back on that plane?" I threatened. "Besides, isn't that how you got here,"
"Yeah, that and hiding in a trunk to get through border patrol," he smiled. "And say it and I'll stop," he urged.
"Nope,"
"Come on," he nudged me.
"Fine," I smiled. "I missed you,"
"I missed you too, Ella,"
"Good," I replied smoothly.
"I love you,"
"I love you back,"
"Where's my kiss?!" Mike demanded. I looked over at him.
"Oh, he's back," I rolled my eyes.
"Come on, Drella," he whined. "I haven't had a kiss since we left. I might as well be a born again virgin,"
"Mike, you hooked up before we took off, in the airport bathroom," Vic reminded him.
"Yeah," he smiled fondly. "But I was talking mentally,"
"Of course you were," I clapped his arm.
"Give me one and I'll leave you alone," Mike urged.
"Come here," I said. He leant down and peck his cheek. "That's all you're getting. I'm not having the fans thinking I'm screwing you both,"
"You hate that word," Vic frowned.
"I know you do but I promised myself I'd try something different for Christmas," I shrugged.
"I want to go home," Vic sighed.
"You tired?" I teased.
"Yeah," Vic nodded.
"Right," Mike laughed. "She'll have you cuffed to your bed, stripped down and at the ready before you can say home sweet home,"
"Stop!" Vic snapped and hit him across the back of the head. I glared and him and punched his arm.
"You prick," I grumbled.
By the doors I saw Tony and Jaime with Jess. They were waiting for us to go outside. I poked Tony in the back and he smiled. "Hey Drella,"
"Hey Tone," I replied. "Welcome home,"
"Thanks," he grinned.
"What's up, Jaime?" I nudged him.
"The sky?" he stated. I raised my eyebrows and he shrugged. "Ask a stupid question and you get a stupid answer,"
"Watch your tone, Preciado," I warned playfully.
"Joke," he rolled his eyes. "What's going down, Drella?"
"Christmas," I grinned back.
"Don't, he ate all his advent chocolates in one day," Vic whispered in my ear.
The doors opened and we walked out. I took Vic's hand and we pushed through people. The guys stopped for a while to talk to fans. I hung back with them, posing or taking the odd picture. We slowly made our way to the car park.
When we reached car I got inside and Vic sat in the passengers seat. "I'm a better driver," he mumbled.
"Looks like it," I teased as he slumped against the seat. I brushed the hair out of his eyes and started driving.
I parked up at our apartment building. Vic went to get his case and I walked inside. We went up to our apartment and I opened the door. Vic looked around shocked but turned back to smile at me. There were Christmas decorations everywhere. The hallway, sitting room, bedrooms, even the kitchen and bathroom were covered. I couldn't resist. And in the sitting room was a tree, fully decked out with ball balls, lights, tinsel and a star at the top of the tree.
"It looks great," Vic told me.
"Thanks," I beamed back. He leant in and kissed me softly. I led him into the sitting room where he could see the kitchen,
"You can tell I wasn't here to rein you in," he teased.
"You know I go over board. It's Christmas Eve Eve. I've had everything up since December the twelfth,"
"I know, Ella. And I think it's cute, I really do. But I think having tinsel by the cooker is a little dangerous," he reasoned gently.
"Maybe," I shrugged.
Vic went over to the couch and sat down. I walked over and sat on top of him, straddling him. He lightly gripped my waist. I leant down and moved his hair so I had better access to his neck. I left kisses until I reached his collar bone and bit down hard.
"Mmmm," Vic murmured. "Fuck, Ella," he gasped as I grazed my tongue over. He moaned but I silenced it with my mouth. I pulled his t-shirt up over his head and threw it somewhere. Then my lips went to his chest. "Damn, I missed this," he whispered so quietly, I wasn't even sure if the words had left his lips.
