Days Like These

“Have you guys found anything?” Vic asked like he did every day his dad got home from work. It’s only been a week but anything can happen within a week.

“We found nothing mijo, sorry. We interviewed Alex though but he gave us nothing to go off. Are you sure there isn’t anyone who’d want to hurt Kellin?” Vic shook his head no. “We’ll keep trying Vic, don’t worry.”

“It’s my fault dad.” Vic said sadly. “I-I should’ve called someone to pick us up.”

“But how would you have known this would happen?”

“Because,” Vic started. “I told you Kellin was telling me to never forget him and to always love him. He told me he loved me and that because of me, he’s alive. Dad, it sounded like he was on his death bed; like he knew something bad was gonna- oh shit!”

“What? What are thinking?”

“His phone!” Vic said in shock. “He saw something on his phone and then he started acting weird.” Vic whispered. “Yeah, he’s been acting weird since his birthday, like he kept looking over his shoulder and he didn’t want to be alone.”

“Where’s his phone then?”

“Did you guys find it in the ally?” his dad shook his head no. “Then he has it. Isn’t there some way you can check his messages?”

“Yeah, I’ll go back up to the station.” His dad said. “Meanwhile, you know not to go out alright. Don’t go anywhere alone.” His dad walked back out and drove off.

“Hey bro.” Mike said, walking down the stairs. “I know things are shitty but do you wanna go to a party?”

“Are you serious?” Vic asked in disbelief. “My boyfriend and your nephew could be in danger and all you wanna do is party?”

“You don’t think I’m worried too?”

“You have a shit way of showing it.”

“’m sorry but c’mon just so you can forget for a bit and sleep without crying.” Vic just rolled his eyes and walked upstairs. “Vic, c’mon!” he heard Mike say from behind him. “Look, give it an hour. If by an hour you don’t want to be there we can leave.”

“How are you getting there?”

“Austin is picking me up and everyone else is meeting us there.”

“Give me ten minutes.”

“I looked up on line and it said sex is good for the baby.” Kellin heard the person whisper in his ear. He felt lips kiss his neck and he tried to repress a shudder. “Your doctor is an idiot.”

“Ye-ah.” Kellin stuttered. “But I don’t want to.”

“What?” the voice growled in his ear, pulling his hair back from the scalp.

“Wh-what I meant was, that, um, I don’t feel good. I feel sick actually.” Kellin whimpered. He felt the body heat disappear and he left out a sigh of relief.

A loud smack echoed through the room.

“You think you can lie to me?” the voice roared. He gripped Kellin’s hair again, pulling his head back. “Don’t be a pussy and stop crying.” Kellin couldn’t stop crying and another smack occurred. “You’re pathetic. I should’ve killed you in that damned ally when I had the chance. It’s been a week and nobody came to look for you little Kelly. Nobody cares about you of that bastered baby.”

“I’m sorry.” Kellin cried.

“Sorry doesn’t cut it!” the voice yelled at him. “Oh, would you look at that? I have a message from my little cute helper. It says, and I quote, Vic is at the party getting drunk. Aw, looks like little Vicky doesn’t care about his little Kelly. Boo hoo!” the voice laughed. Everything became quiet but Kellin knew the person was still there. “I’ll just wait here with you until I get some more updates.”

“Vic, chill with the beer.” Mike said, taking the red cup out of his older brother’s hand.

“Why?” A drunk Vic asked. “’S my faul’ m’boyfrien an peanut is died.”

“Don’t speak like that!” Mike shouted, then calmly he said, “Look, why don’t we go look for everyone and leave.” Mike took an intoxicated Vic upstairs to look for their friends. “Ok, you wait right here.” Mike said, leaning him against the wall. “Don’t move.” When Mike was gone, Alex showed up.

“Hey Vic.”

“’Lex!” Vic shouted, hugging the other boy.

“Aren’t you very touchy.”

“’M horny.” Vic attempted to whisper. “I need Kellin but he’s gone! Poof into thin air.”

“Well, Kellin told me that it’s ok if we have sex.”

“Really? Nah!” Vic giggled. “Not my Kells.”

“I have proof.” Alex took out his phone and showed it Vic. “See?”

Vic looked at the name and saw that it said Kells and read the message. “Oh. Ok. Les’ go!” he said dragging out the o.

Alex led him into an empty room, locking the door behind him. “We’re not wasting time I see.” He said when he saw Vic already stripped to his boxers. He began taking off his clothes too and stood there as he watched Vic jerk himself off slowly. “This is gonna be fun.”

“Oh look!” the voice said excitedly. “Another message and this time it’s a video. Let’s watch it together. Or, in your case, listen.” There was rustling before Kellin felt the presence of the man.

“Oh fuck, you so big baby.” Kellin heard someone moan. “You stretch me out so good.” The person kept repeating things like that then he heard a familiar moan.

“Fuck ‘Lex, you’re so tight. You’re better than Kellin.” Vic. Kellin began breathing faster.

“Shit baby don’t stop. Vic you’re so good at this.” Alex panted.

“Wait,” Kellin’s heart stopped for a bit “Get on your back.” And it shattered. As his breathing began getting choppy, he moans began getting louder. Kellin’s eyes burned with the threat of tears. He wasn’t able to stop them as he continues to hear Vic and Alex have sex. Vic never cared. It was all lies. He heard their panting get faster and the bed squeak and creak from the movements before hearing them finish. “Al-ex.” Vic groaned. He heard Alex groan as he finished too before it was removed from his ear.

“Wow.” The voice said. “I guess your Vic doesn’t care about you at all. While you’re here, held against your divine will, Vic is out there fucking some kid names Alex.” The voice laughed humorlessly. “I guess you’re better off here, where I do care for you.” Kellin felt a hand caress his cheek before it slowly went down his neck and bump and coming back up again.

“How-how did you get that video?”

“I have eyes everywhere Kellin.”

“Who are you?”

“Someone you know very well.” The voice replied. “Why don’t we make a deal. I’ll give you your sight if you agree to be my slave.”

“Never.” Kellin growled.

His head was pulled back and he felt something pointed touch his throat. “Listen here brat, I’ve been nothing but good with you. Now, you don’t need your sight but you will be my slave regardless. If you wish to keep your eyes, I suggest you agree with my deal.” His head was released as it was thrown forwards. “So, have you reconsidered?”

“Fine,” Kellin said quietly. “I agree.”

“Splendid, splendid!” the voice cheered with a clap. “Now close your eyes so the light doesn’t hurt you and don’t open them until I tell you to.” Kellin did as he was told as the blindfold came off. “See how easier it is when you listen. Now open your eyes.” But Kellin couldn’t. He couldn’t because that voice finally had a face. It was a face he’d hope to never see again. “Open them dimwit!” Kellin slowly opened his eyes, allowing the light to filter through. Once his vision wasn’t so blurry, he looked around the room. It was fairly nice for what has happened. But he couldn’t find the man to the voice. “I’m right behind you.” Kellin turn his head but saw nobody. When he looked forward again, there he stood. “Surprise.” Kellin gasped in shock. He was right. “Missed me baby?”
