“I thought you got enough of me in high school?! Why the hell are you back?!”

“Ahaha. That’s the thing dumbass, my dad’s the Sherriff here, I don’t care if I’m 80 and can’t walk I will still find a way to make your life hell. I saw you doing violence in a family friendly park, it was only my right to call my daddy and have you arrested for beating up my boyfriend, or at least threatening you to.”

“YOUR BOYFRIEND?! Last time I checked his girlfriend was named caddie, not slu- I mean Ashley.” I silently laughed to myself, yet still confused.”

“Caddie’s my cousin, on the ugly side of the family, I saw her with that gorgeous chunk of meat, and I knew he was in you pics on insta.. soo I took him from caddie, now he’s mine all mine.”

“You haven’t changed at all. Tell me, how’s it like being 19 and raising 3 kids?”
Okay I should not have said that.

“You should not have said that.”
Told you.

She got up and slapped me repeatedly across the face. I was used to it so I just let her slap me as much as she wanted.
Uhg. When was Tony gonna bail me out. I haven’t even gotten put in my holding cell and have been here for an hour. We they took me away he said he would bail me as soon as I got there.
Maybe he’s waiting for a call.

“Don’t I get a call or something?”

“Fine make it quick...”

I walked over to the phone and called tony.

Ring ring…..ring ri-

“Hello?”
“Where the fuck are you tony?!”
“Shit I’m sorry I was waiting for you to call.”
“You’ll never guess who was the one who called the cops.”
“Who?”
“Ashley-“
“THOMAS?! FROM HIGH SCHOOL?!?!”
“Yup.” I said popping the P.
“UHG! Can’t the slut give you a break?!”
“Nope. And guess what else?”
“huh?”
“She’s dating a guy also known as Michael. Christopher. Fuentes.”

His end was silent. I then heard him scream Vic’s name.
“Hey what’s up Lil DD?” Vic said.
“Uhm don’t call me that.” I said with a laugh. “Also you know that girl Ashley? The one who made my high school life hell?”
“Yea?”
“She called the cops on me, I’m in a holding cell till someone gets me, but she’s also dating Mike….”
“I’m going to murder him. Not really, I’m just mad.” I knew he said that cause he was afraid of the police listening on our calls. He is always so paranoid.
“Anyways I have to go.. I don’t think I was supposed to be on the phone this long. Love ya bro, and tell Tony to pick me up.. Like now.. I can’t take anymore of Ashley.”
“Got it lil sis, love ya to. Bye.”
“Bye.”

I hung up the phone and did a long sigh.

“Pay me 10 dollars; you went over the amount of time you are allowed to talk now you need to pay up.”

I groaned and got out what I had and shoved it in face, then sat down.

I look over and Tony was walking in, already having his debit card out.

“Dakota Perry you can go you’ve been bailed out.”

I mentally flipped off Ashley as I skipped out as fast as possible of the horrid place.

“Ashley looks like…. A fucking stripper. Geez, I didn’t think she could look anymore whorish than she did in high school, boy was I wrong.” Tony laughed.

“No kidding.”

“Why are your cheeks all red?”

“She slapped me… a lot.”

“She should be the one in jail.. what did you say to make her slap you.”

“I told her she didn’t change one bit than asked her how it was like being 19 and raising 3 kids. I was gonna add how the kids ad different fathers but that would have been rude..”
Tony gave me a high five and laughed as we got in the car.

“Chinese?” he asked

“I’m feeling more pizza hut.”

“Okay, by the way, Alex, Jack and Vic are spending the night at my place. Jaime’s staying at your place tonight and I know you don’t wanna hear them having sex so I picked up some clothes from your place and we will have a mini party at my house.”

I laughed. “You really are the best big brother ever.”

“Nah.”

“uh, Yah.”
“Whatever you say dear.”

I slapped his arm as we pulled into his driveway.
As I walked in Alex ran to hug me and Jack and Vic constantly asked how it felt to be a criminal.

I laughed as we continued on conversations, I told them about Ashley, and my face. They laughed and got mad at mike too. Alex wouldn’t leave my side. He was worried.


After laughing and drinking for a while, I finally fell asleep on Alex’s lap. Who can blame me, it’s been a long day..
