Only The Good Die Young

Epilogue

Tony squirms in Mike's vice like grip. It had been comfortable for a few minutes when he had just been waking up, but now it was annoying and he felt hot. He felt sore and his head hurt a little. What had he done last night? Tony manages to turn and face Mike, who is smiling contently in his sleep. Tony leans forward and shifts their weight until he's succesfully moved so he's laying on top of Mike. At last Mike's eyes flutter open, his small smile turns to a smirk.

"Ready to go again?" Mike asks, moving out from under Tony.

The couple had long since moved out of Sulfur Springs, instead opting to live out their lives in a coastal city. Tony even went to their community college, earning himself a degree. Mike kept himself occupied with a job working at the tattoo parlor with his friend that had given Tony his dermal piercing.

"No I am not read to 'go again,'" Tony answers. "How drunk was I last night?"

"Drunk enough," Mike chuckles. He pauses, realizing that Tony seemed to have a raging headache. "Let me cook you something, Drunkey Mcgee."

"Fuck off," Tony responds, falling to the side.

Mike rolls his eyes and goes for their small apartment kitchen. He was glad that he hadn't dranken anything last night, even though it was tempting with a blaringly drunk Tony. Mike throws together a meal of french toast mindlessly, and calls out for Tony. Tony comes down the hall, dressed in a pair of sweatpants and still lacking his shirt. Mike smiled and shook his head. "Dangerously cute," Mike comments to himself, setting a plate down infront of Tony before serving himself.

They sit in silence a long time before Tony speaks up. "You know, this is exactly what you made me for breakfast the first time I ever got a hang over," Tony says, quietly.

"Yeah?" Mike says, smiling.

Tony can't help but smile too. He'd built himself the perfect life with Mike, the boy who was supposed to be the downfall of him. And for that, he was pretty damn proud.

Notes

Wow. This is really short.

Okay, so I've decided, I think I'm going to rewrite the last little bit of "Smoke and Mirrors," then finish "the Vanishing Act."

I also had idea for a post-apocalyptic. So idk.

(Also, this is my second full length finished story. Thanks so great!)
