Only The Good Die Young

The last day on the coast was over in a flash. And before Tony even realized it they were at home, back to the hum drum life of the rez. Days began passing, and soon enough they turned into weeks, and suddenly the beginning of the school year was approaching. Tony had seen Mike everyday, and they always did something whether it was lay around Tony's house or go to the reservoir. Tony guesses the saying "time flies when you're having fun" was true, and he honestly got it for the first time in his life.

Tony can hardly bare to drag himself out of bed that morning, today signified exactly a week until school started, it also meant his aunt would be home tomorrow. Tony manages to crawl out of bed and thanks god Anne had given him the week off the get himself into the "school mindset," though he would probably just waste it laying around with Mike, and maybe Jaime and Vic.

Tony wanders into the living room and flicks on the TV to the news. The door opens and Tony knows it's Mike, he had shown him where the spare key was kept, and Mike had been abusing that priveledge since.

"Hey baby," Tony greets, patting the seat on the couch next to him. Mike, however, instead chooses to straddle Tony's lap and kiss him lazily.

"Good morning cutey," Mike mumbles against his lips before kissing his again, this time running his tongue along Tony's bottom lip, pleading for entrance. Tony parts his lips and there's hardly a fight for dominance, as many times as they did this Tony still got too flustered to push back. When Mike is satisfied he plops down next to Tony, a content grin on his face. "I never get tired of that," he muses. "So, Tone. Do you wanna go swimming with me today?"

"Sure," Tony agrees. Being with Mike would be the best way to spend his final day of complete freedom.

"Good, I packed a nice lunch and everything!" Mike cheers. "Now go get your swim trunks on." When Tony stands up Mike playfully grabs his ass, only causing Tony to blush bright red and jump. "Too cute Tone."

In a few minutes they're in Mike's car, heading for the reservoir, which was undoubtedly going to be packed due to the heat. When they get there they're lucky enough to have beat the crowd, so they'd be alone for a little while at least.

Mike grins and pulls of his shirt, Tony follows his example and they walk down to the water, slipping their sandal off a little before then, but not too much because it hurt like fuck to step on all the twigs and rocks trying to get back to them if they were any further up. Mike steps onto the beach tree trunk and jumps in, he new that there was a sudden drop off there, so it was safe to dive. Tony stands on top of it a moment before bailing into to freezing water.
"It's cold!" Tony exclaims, his teeth chattering.

"No duh, it's like ten in the morning. Did you expect it to be ninety degrees?" Mike splashes some water at Tony.

"Whatever, ass." Tony splashes water back at Mike and swims away when Mike attempts to retaliate.

Mike swims after him and dunks him under the water. Tony gaps when he comes up, and does the same to Mike. Pretty soon they're feuding like a bunch of five-year-olds. They're into the water easily two hours before they crawl out for lunch.

"Hey?" Mike asks as he divides the stuff. Tony hums a 'yes'. "Would you come camp with me at Vic at fair tomorrow to Sunday?" Mike asks. "Jaime might come too, but he doesn't know."

"Sure," Tony says happily. He'd gladly blow off his aunt for another few days to hang out with them.
