Only The Good Die Young

Tony fell asleep some time after Coeur d'Alene, his head in Mike's lap. When he woke up Mike had been replaced by Vic, who was snoozing as well. Tony sits up and blinks the blurriness from his eyes, he can see the sun coming up in the horizon. He glance to find Mike driving with Jaime asleep at the passenger's seat. Mike glances up and sees Tony in the mirror.

"G'morning sleeping beauty," Mike says with a smile.

"Good morning Mikey," Tony says, his cheeks tinged pink.

"Do you wanna stop for something to eat?" Mikey muses as a small town is seen in the distance.

"Sure," Tony says quietly so that he wouldn't wake up Vic or Jaime.

"Nice, there's a cute little place that sells bake goods in the town coming up." Mike nods in a forward direction. "Then we can find a place to sit while we eat." Tony nods and awkwardly drums his fingers against the seat while they head for the town.

Before long they are heading through a small town, probably no bigger than Sulfur Springs. Mike pulls off the main road and into the parking lot of a small bakery with a neon 'open' sign. Mike informs Tony to stay in the car while he ran in and bought doughtnuts really quickly. As promised Mike was back within a few minutes, balancing a box in his hands. "I asked the gal inside, and she said that there's a cute park we can stop at, and the coast is only a half hour off, so if we don't wake up Hime and Vic, we can be there before they even notice."

Tony nods, and waits patiently as the cars heads off to the park. Whoever had suggested it had made a good one, it was small and pretty, yet secluded at the same time. Mike gets out of the car himself taking the doughnuts with him, and has Tony climb over to console because 'one door closing would cause less racket than two'. Mike gently closes the door and walks over to a picnic table, where he sets the doughnuts down and pulls one out of the box.

"You snore like thunder or something," Mike comments as he bites into the doughnut.

"It can't be that bad," Tony scoffs, picking out a doughnut for himself.

"Jaime thought you were dead when you stopped," Mike says with a smirk.

"Oh shut up!" Tony awkwardly punches him in the shoulder.

Mike rolls his eyes. "You're just too cute Tone-bone." Mike leans over and kisses Tony on the lips. He tasted just like the jelly filling of his doughtnut, and Mike wouldn't mind deepening the kiss, but he pulls away and continues to eat. Tony's face is red, and he has instead decided to divert his full attention to eating breakfast. A few doughtnut later Mike stands up and stretches.

"Time to head out again, yeah?"

Tony nods, than puts his forefinger up to indicate they needed to wait a moment. Tony stands up and shuffles over to Mike. He carefull wraps his arms around Mike's neck and kisses his mouth. Mike's hands find Tony's waist, and Mike dares to moves his mouth against Tony's. Tony doesn't reject, and for a moment of pure bliss they get their passionate kiss.

Mike, surprisingly, pulls away first. "You're not such a bad kisser Tone." He laughs at the blush that spreads across Tony's cheeks, a if he was embarrassed that he had just made such a bold move. Mike kisses his nose. "Don't be embarrassed babe." They release each other, and Mike leans in for a final kiss on the lips. "Now get in the car dork." Tony climbs over the console again, and in a matter of moment they're back on the road, Jaime and Vic still well asleep.

In roughly thirty minutes they're pulling into a coast city that looked a lot like the one Tony had grown up in, except smaller.

"Are we there yet?" A groggy Vic says, squinting his eyes at the light of day.
