"Okay. So how can we find them?" Tony asks.

Realization dawns on me. "We can't."

"What do you mean, we can't?" Mike almost shouts, aggression clear in his voice.

But I am too numb to care about the way he is speaking to me, too focused on the sick feeling making my stomach heavy and weightless all at the same time.

I raise a shaky hand and point towards the television behind where they are all sitting. Mike spins around quickly and Elle gasps, leaning forward for the remote control, and turns up the volume so we can all hear what we are dreading the most.

"...known as just Charlie, he is said to have gone missing from his cell around 2 hours ago with no trace left behind, not even his belongings were left behind at the scene. Police have questioned his cell mate to see if he knows anything, but he is denying even knowing the man. If you have seen this man, please contact the police immediately as he is a danger to the public, and more specifically, his ex-partner who goes by the name of Rose. To keep these people safe, report anything that could possibly lead to him being found and being brought back to his cell, in prison - where he belongs."

My breath catches in my throat as I see a tear escape from Elle's tear duct.

"He's got them, hasn't he?" She whispers and I nod.

I look over at Mike who is, for the first time today, at a loss for words. The fear and apprehension is apparent on his face, but the main emotion that I see is sadness. I think his brother is the second thing he is most worried about at the moment, Rose's life being the first.

"Well, we have to go and find them, don't we?" Jaime says, his voice slightly choked up, and I feel a massive amount of sympathy towards him. He doesn't need to be a part of this, neither does Tony. Mike has his brother to look out for, I have my sister, Elle has her best friend.

"No." I say bluntly.

"What do you mean? Of course we have to look for them." Mike says, a look of confusion in his face, and all of his earlier anger replaced with anxiety and fear.

"No, I mean, yes we do have to. But, just me, you and Elle. Tony and Jaime, you have no idea how much I would hate myself if I let you come with us and you got hurt. Us three have something to fight for in this, I know Vic is your friend, but if we all go, more people are going to get hurt than necessary. If it was up to me, I would go alone. But I know that Mike and Elle are never going to let that happen." I say and I see Elle nodding her head.

"She is right. Someone needs to be here in case they come back while we are gone too. It is just too risky to all go together." She says.

"I don't know about you guys, but something is telling me it is going to take a lot longer than you seem to be thinking to find them. We have no clue where they could be, all we know is who they are with. If Charlie escaped prison without a trace, the chances of him leaving us a trail behind him is highly unlikely. We need to think this through properly." Mike makes a valid point.

"True. We need to come up with a plan of what we are going to do." Tony says.

"But, Tony, I said-" I start.

"I don't care. There is more chance of them being found if we all look for them than there is if only a few of you go. And I am sure that Jaime wants to help, because I know I do."

"We are coming. Tony is right. And I am not letting Elle go there alone. Mike can take care of you, Elle needs someone of her own too." Jaime inputs.

"Ugh, fine. I suppose you are both right." Elle groans. "Okay, come on. What are we going to do?"

I am so happy to be back and writing again, I don't think you understand. I don't know why I didn't just do this before, I would have felt better so much earlier.
I know this is very boring at the moment, but I need to build i up before major things start happening, and I had to kinda fill you in on who was going and stuff ya know...
