Believe You Me
Chapter 25 (Back to prologue)
“She was constantly back in and out of the hospital. It wasn’t even that bad anymore since she got the surgery.” I spoke, looking at the school in front of me and knew it was almost time for her to get out.
“But after Collide With The Sky, what happened?” Jake asked. “I know that straight after the Collide With The Sky Tour, Julie got worse right?” Jake asked. I nodded and sighed heavily.
“The thing was, once you have cancer, you have the risk of it coming back, and that’s exactly what happened. It came back and this time there was no surgery available.” I explained. I looked around at the crowd that was by the school and stood up, Jake standing with me.
(Three years later; July 15th)
“Daddy!” Mia yelled, hurriedly running to me. I turned around and she ran full speed to me. “Mommy!” She squealed hiding behind my legs as she tried to peek around. I grinned, bending down and having her wrap her small arms around my neck.
“Let’s go get mommy.” I smiled and Mia let out a squeal I laughter, as I ran to the hallway, seeing Julie running to our room. I ran full speed after her and she laughed, Mia laughing above my head and I easily caught up to Julie, one arm around her waist while the other was still holding Mia tightly. Julie turned, facing me and Mia as she held a small, orange Nerf gun to her.
“We got mommy!” Mia happily giggled as Julie looked behind us. I heard a gun load and turned, seeing Tony with two blueNerf guns and Casey with another one.
“All right Fuentes, hands where I can see them.” Tony winked at Mia. Julie laughed and Mia whined, putting her hands up as I did the same.
“Fuentes!” Vic came out running and shot both Tony and Casey, catching them by surprise as Mia shot Tony.
“Uncle Vic!” Mia laughed. Vic laughed and Jaime walked in, watching in surprise as we all were shooting each other. Tony began shooting Jaime and he ran behind the couch, Mia wiggling on my shoulders as I set her down. She ran to the couch and shot Jaime. We heard him gag before saying a goodbye and ‘died’.” I laughed and Julie clung to my side. I looked at her and she was taking deep breaths.
“You okay?” I asked, looking at her. Julie was taking huge breaths, finally being able to nod and smile.
“Yeah, I’ve just been out of breath lately.” I nodded and noticed how she had been running up and down with Mia. Don’t get us wrong, it was amazing having Mia with us, it’s just that Julie had been running up and down with her and she was getting exhausted.
“Let’s go to the beach house we went to three years ago. All of us.” I told her.
“Really Mike?” Julie asked. I smiled down at her and kissed her forehead.
“Yeah, it’ll be good for us. With all these tours going on, it’ll be good for all of us.” I reassured her. Julie smiled, leaning against my chest as I looked down at her.
“Guys, pack your bags, let’s head to the beach.” I spoke. All the guys were being shot by Mia and she suddenly squealed.
“Ocean!” I laughed as she happily ran into Casey’s arms and he spun her around.
“Let’s go the day after tomorrow?” Jaime asked. We all nodded and continued playing.
July 17th
I watched as Mia ran around the beach. She was happily playing with Vic and Tony, the two chasing her. Casey and Jaime were still building the sandcastle that Mia had requested and I was on the towel with Julie between my legs, her back pressed on my chest as she soundly slept on my shoulder. I fixed my shades and watched as Mia and Tony carried a bucket of water to Jaime, Casey holding his smile.
They dumped it on him, Jaime letting a scream and Mia ran to Vic, who carried her and ran to the water. I laughed and felt Julie stir under me, letting out a shaky breath before falling back asleep. I frowned, thinking the next test she has next week. Dr. Evans had told us she needed to get tested a few times a year until we know for certain that everything is going to be fine.
But I suddenly got a horrible feeling about it.

I’m very sorry, I had no motivation to write but I should be all good now! I have a new story coming up since I got a request for a BVB one but PTV will make an appearance. :) I’m sorry I took long. Forgive me.
