May These Noises Startle You In Your Sleep

You Told Me Think About It Well I Did

Ally's POV

Vic, still holding my hand, lead us to the back of the main stage where Pierce the Veil were due to perform in just under twenty minutes. There were so many people around, and tonnes of musical equipment stored in the back. Callie and I stood there gaping, our mouths wide open. We couldn't believe that we were standing backstage at Warped Tour with Pierce the Veil.

At that moment a tall, skinny and attractive man with tattoos and a snap-back came rushing over.

"Vic! Where the hell were you man? We're about to go on soon."

"Mike, calm down!" Vic said.

Mike suddenly aware of mine and Callie's presence, blurted out "Who are they?"

"This is Ally and her best friend Callie" Vic explained. "I saw Ally trip over at the merch tent and I wanted to make sure she was okay so I invited them to watch from the side of the stage".

I felt my cheeks burn red again as I looked at the ground, embarrassed.

Mike raised an eyebrow at Vic before breaking out into a grin. "Nice to meet you both. I'm Mike" he said, extending out his hand.

Callie and I both shook his hand, nodding at him, unsure of what to say back. Mike dropped his hand and turned his attention back to Vic.

"C'mon man we have to go on in like five minutes. Lets go!"

Vic nodded at him and we watched as Mike went to go find his drumsticks.
"Girls are you going to be okay?" He asked us. I couldn't help but get lost in his beautiful chocolate-brown eyes.

"We sure are!" Callie replied, smirking at me and I nodded in response. After meeting Mike, somehow I'd lost the ability to speak. Where would I be without my best friend?

"Okay, well I have to go and get my guitar but if you stand over there, you'll get the best view in the house" he pointed over towards the stage. Callie and I exchanged looks of excitement.

"Thanks so much Vic!" Callie replied, Vic nodding at her in return before leaving us alone together.

Callie and I made our way over the the spot where Vic had pointed to. We were right on the side of the stage. We could see the crowd starting to form, hundreds of people braving the sweltering heat to see Pierce the Veil play.

"Is this really happening?" I asked.
"Oh my god, it's really happening!" Callie said unable to contain her excitement. "Girl, what is up with you and Vic?"
I blinked. "What are you talking about?"
"Oh don't think I didn't notice the way he was holding your hand and the way he was standing so close to you when we were talking to Mike. I think he likes you!"
I laughed at the absurdity of the thought. "That's ridiculous! He's like a huge rock star. Why, when he could have any girl he wanted, would he choose me?"
Callie opened her mouth to answer me but was interrupted by the sound of music. Callie and I started screaming. We couldn't believe that we were watching Pierce the Veil from the side of the stage. Vic was right. It really was the best seat in the house!

One by one they walked out. Jaime, then Mike, followed by Tony and lastly Vic who walked up to the microphone and screamed into it "What the fuck is up LA" emphasizing the 'A' sound. They began their set with 'Hell Above'. Callie and I were going crazy, jumping up and down, singing the words as loud as we could and dancing. We knew the words to every single song they had played.

Four songs later, Vic announced to the crowd "Okay guys, we're going to slow it down a little". He swapped his electric guitar for a beautiful acoustic before returning to the Microphone.
"Today I met a beautiful girl. She's got wavy blonde hair and the bluest eyes I have ever seen."

I could feel myself growing hot. My cheeks flushed and I turned to look at Callie who was wearing the biggest smile on her face, her eyes lit up with excitement. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Was Vic talking about me? No, that's not possible.

"I want to dedicate this next song to her so, Ally if you would could you please join me on stage?" Vic was facing to us, motioning for me to join him. I could knew my mouth was wide open but I was smiling. I couldn't believe that this was happening. I threw Callie a disbelieving look and mouthed to her 'me?'. She nodded jumping up and down.

"Go!" She said. "Go!"

I found myself walking towards Vic, feeling everyone's eyes on me. I could feel the butterflies swelling up in my stomach. I was grinning like an idiot but I didn't care. Vic held out his hand and I took it. He pulled me in for a hug and the crowd let out a huge 'awwwwwwwwwwwwww'. I blushed as he motioned for me to sit down on the stool that had been placed on the stage by one of the roadies.

"Alright guys" Vic said into the microphone. "This is Hold On Till May" as he began to strum the the first chord of the song.

I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes. This was my favourite song. The song that I would listen to when I felt so low and alone. The words seemed to speak to me and Vic's voice was angelic. He screamed perfection. I tried to hold in my tears. I did not want to embarrass myself on stage in front of all these people by crying. I looked over at Callie and saw her singing the words to the song, tears pouring down her face.

"If I were you I'd put that away
See you're just wasted and thinking 'bout the past again
Darling you'll be okay"

My favourite Pierce the Veil lyrics. I couldn't hold in the tears anymore and they slid down my cheeks but, they were happy tears. Tears of joy. Right in that moment I had never felt such happiness. I did not know that happiness like this existed.

The song ended and Vic screamed into the microphone "Give it up for my girl Ally!" The crowd cheered so loudly and I stood up and smiled, waving out at the hundreds of people that stood before me. Vic pulled me into another hug and whispered "you're beautiful" into my ear, before escorting me back to Callie and changing back to his electrics guitar.

"Guys we have one more song to play for you today but to do this I'm going to need some help from one of my best friends. Give it up for Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens!"
The opening notes for 'King For A Day' sounded and the crowd went wild as Kellin Quinn ran on stage. The energy was insane. The crowd was pumped and Callie and I were dancing and singing the words like crazy. I had seriously never felt this much happiness before in my life!
