~Ale~ -L.A- I pull over the house I thought I wasn’t going to see again, I grab the car seats and go to the front door. “I’m coming.” And she opens the door. “Ale?” “Hi aunt Jasmine.” She doesn’t say anything, she hugs me tightly and she begins to cry. “Alejandra, I’m so glad you’re here and ALIVE.” She pulls away and sees the two car seats. “You had them?” I nod “they’re 10 months old.” She helps me take them inside the house. She hands me a cup of coffee and she sits down next to me pulling her legs close to her. “How did you get out of there?” she asked while taking a sip from her cup. “I didn’t want to be there anymore, he only checks very once in a while, I found money and I packed my bags and left.” “He can track your phone Hun.” I look at my phone. “I’ll buy a new one with a new number.” I simply say, Ana starts to Cry. “Oh come here.” I grab her and give her the bottle. “My goodness she’s gorgeous” “Well, her name is Anastasia.” “That’s a beautiful name Ale, what about this little guy.” “Nicholas,” “Nick, well they look a lot like Tony, sweetie, yet they have your nose.” “Oh I know, Josh Flipped out when he noticed they looked like Tony, I told him to suck it up, he just left.” “That’s my girl.” Then the door bell rings. “Who can that be?” She gets up and opens the door. “Oh, Megan what a surprise.” “Hi momma.” Meg gives her a hug. “Oh Jaime you came here too?” “Of course I did, I didn’t want Meg to drive here alone.” “I wasn’t going to be alone babe, I had Hector with me.” Hector? Megan enters the kitchen and stops at her tracks. “Ale?” “Babe you seeing things again?” Jaime asked “No babe, come here.” “Megan I told you Ale.” He sees me “You’re here!!!” he runs to me and gives me a huge hug. “Omg, you’re alive, and here, wait where are the kids?” “Coming this way, Jaime.” He turns around and sees Ana and Nick walking in the kitchen. “Omg, they are sooo cute! Look Meg.” “Btw who’s hector?” I ask Megan. Jaime goes to the living room and brings a baby. “Ale, meet my little man, Hector Andrew Preciado.” “Oh my god, Jaime and Megan you made a very handsome baby, how old is he?” “He was born like 2 months ago Ale.” “Can I?” I ask Jaime, he hands me the baby. “Hey there little guy, I’m Ale, I’m your daddy’s best friends. You and nick will be best friends I promise you.” I kiss his tiny forehead and hand him back to Megan. “Momma.” Ana said. I stood there shocked. “Dada.” Nick said. “When are you going back to San Diego?” Jaime asked. “I’m stay here for a little while.” I said. “Oh, mom, Aly is coming today too; she’s bringing Chris and Mike.” ‘How’s everyone? Well what happened ever since I was...” I ask “Destroyed Ale. “ Megan said “Danny didn’t speak to anyone for 3 months, Nancy was crying every single day, and she has a baby girl now too. Brit became a mom as well, to a baby girl. Tony, well he’s a disaster, he wouldn’t come out of your bedroom, and he held closely the baby clothes you guys bought.” Jaime added. I was in tears by the time he told me everything. “It’s not your fault though, Ale, that motherfucker ruined you and us. Just wait till Tony sees you…” “Jaime, I’m not going to San Diego like soon soon, I’m staying here a little while, and then I’ll go to San Diego in a month or two.” “But... okay, you know what’s best.” After 20 mins of laughing and taking pictures of the kids, the door bell rang. “That must be Aly, Alejandra go hide.” I go to the bathroom and lock the door. “Alyxx! Mike!” Aunt Jasmine said. “Hey Auntie, oh hey Meg!” “Hey.” And they were still saying hi to each other. “Are you babysitting Auntie?” “In a way.” “What do you mean Jasmine?” Mike asked. “Promise you guys won’t freak out.” Megan said. “Yeah, we promise.” “Okay, hold up ill be right back.” I hear footsteps and the door opens. “Come out Hun.” I grab Ana and Nick by the hand and we walk to the living room “Hey guys.” I say softly. Alyxx faces lights up and she starts to cry. “Ale!!” she runs to me and attacks me to a hug. The waterworks start again for me “I missed you sooo much Ale, I thought we lost you forever.” She pulls away and sees Ana and nick. “The babies?” she asks. I nod and Mike brings Chris over. I go to his height. “Hey there Chris, you probably don’t remember me huh?” He looks deep into my eyes and smiles. “Apparently he does Ale.” I stand and give Mike a hug. “Missed you abusive woman.” He said joking, I smack his arm. “Now I’m complete.” He grabs me into another hug. “Missed you Alejandra.” “Missed you too Michael.” We spent the whole day talking and talking. I found half of my family, my friends. “I miss my family.” I whisper “They miss you too Ale, when you going back to SD?” “In a month or two Mikey, I wanna surprise, Danny, Nancy and Tony.” “You’ll meet, Amber and Angelica.” “All the daughters of the Cortez’s have A’s, that’s pretty awesome.” “Oh ha! I just noticed that.” “Well, Nancy might pop anytime soon.” “How much is she?” “7 months.” “I have an idea.” “What is it?” “I’ll be there the Day she has Angelica.” They look at each other and smile. “We’ll call you.” “I’ll text you guys in my new phone.” “Well, we have to go back, we won’t say anything and we’ll see you soon Ale. Take care girl.” I stand and give them all a hug. “See you guys soon.” And they leave.
