Break the Barricade

It was finally over. After spending two weeks there I felt like I couldn't breathe. The constant observation would drive anyone insane. As much as I'd hate to admit it I think it actually helped me. My shrink gave me some coping methods that were different to the old ones and these ones seem to work. I know how to chill my anger and I know how not let the need to hurt myself consume me.
But as I sat with my hands gripping my usual from Starbucks, waiting to board my flight there was something that was still bothering me. What the hell was going on with Vic? Did he still like me? Has he moved on? Did he actually cheat? There was only one person that would kind of tell me the truth. That person wasn't Jaime. Jaime was closer to Vic than he was me. It was Mike.
I took my phone out and dialled his number. As it rang it bit down on my bottom lip anxiously. I didn't even know what I planned on saying.
"Hello?" Mike answered.
"Hey Mike. It's Thea." I replied.
"Oh hi. Is everything okay? I mean with your flight."
"Oh yeah. Everything's fine."
"Why you ringing me then? I thought you'd be talking to Vic."
"That's why I'm calling you. I need to talk about Vic."
"Oh." Mike muttered.
"What's going on with him?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean why is he acting weird?"
"He's been acting weird?" Mike asked.
"Yeah he has. He's hiding something from me. Isn't he?"
"It not my place to say, Thea. I can't start talking all about my brothers business."
"Did he cheat on me?" I asked bluntly.
"What?!" Mike exclaimed.
"He said you all went to a club. Then he started acting all weird. Like he didn't want to admit he went."
"He didn't go." Mike told me.
"Really?" I asked disbelievingly. "So what happened to make him act the way he did?"
"Something happened that night."
"I knew it!"
"But it wasn't a girl. Vic never hooked up with anyone," he rushed. "Something happened involving Vic. Just Vic."
"So he still likes me?" I asked hopefully.
"Are you stupid? Of course he still likes you." Mike sighed.
"What did he do then?"
"I can't tell you. It's Vic's thing, he should tell you."
"Fine," I agreed. I heard them call my flight and grabbed my bag. "I'll see later. I need to board." I told him.
"Okay, safe flight." Mike told me. I hung up and left my coffee behind. I walked to board and got ready to show my boarding pass.

When the plane touched the ground I started to panic a little. A flight doesn't do wonders for your beauty. Everyone was gathering their things together as I checked myself in my hand mirror. I started fixing my hair and touched up some of my make-up.
When people started to stand up to leave I followed them. I took my hand luggage and walked out off of the plane. I followed everyone to collect my case and waited. Once I had gotten everything I inhaled a breath. I'd be seeing him soon.
I walked out and past people with little signs for passengers. I swallowed hard and searched for Vic and Jaime. When I couldn't seen them I bit down on my tongue. Until I spotted Jaime's hair through the crowd. I made my way over and Jaime saw me. He grinned widely to me and tapped Vic on the shoulder. Vic turned to me and gave me a small smile.
I tried to hurry over. When I was close I left my case behind and ran to Vic. He opened his arms for me and I walked into them. Vic held my waist lightly and my arms went around his neck. I kissed him hard and roughly on the lips. Vic kissed me back and I felt him sigh under me.
"I missed you." I told him.
"I missed you too, Thea." Vic replied warmly. "Um... I love you."
"I love you too." I beamed.
"Where's my hug?" Jaime asked. I rolled my eyes and left Vic to hug Jaime. He lifted me off of my feet and hugged me tight. I laughed just as he put me down.
"Let's get out of here." I said. I went to get my things and Vic took my bag. I smiled in thanks and took his hand.
"How you feeling?" Vic whispered in my ear.
"Better." I replied simply. I reached up and kissed his cheek.
We walked to the car and I put my things in the trunk. Jaime got into the front seat and I sat in the back seat with Vic. Jaime turned the radio up and started singing to himself. But I kept hold of Vic's hand. Whatever he did I don't care. I'm just happy I'm with Vic again. I felt Vic press a kiss to my neck and giggled. I felt a blush warm my cheeks as Jaime drove.
When we arrived at the venue Jaime parked up. We got out of the car and I got my things. We started towards the bus and before we could get to the door it was flung open. Tony was standing in the doorway waiting. He took my case and grinned at me. "Hey Tony," I said. "You haven't been waiting for me?"
"Actually no. I was about to go into the venue with Mike. But great timing." he smiled sheepishly.
"That's okay."
"Welcome back." Tony told me. He gave me a hug and I saw Mike behind him.
"Did you tell him?" I whispered as I hugged Mike.
"No, not my job." Mike muttered.
"Thanks." I smiled gently. I pulled away from Mike and Mike went over to Tony.
"Who's coming?" Mike asked.
"I'll go." Jaime said.
"Later. I'm tired." I explained.
"Vic?" Tony asked.
"I'll be there for sound check. I want to stay here for a little while." Vic said.
The others left and I went to put my things in my bunk. I felt Vic watching me and turned. He smiled at me and I walked over to him. "It sucked." I told him. Vic wrapped his arms around me and I rested my head against his chest.
"You're not there anymore." Vic told me.
"I know," I nodded and reached up to kiss him. "I missed kissing you."
"Me too."
"What else did you miss?" I teased. Vic smirked back at me until I went to run my hand under his shirt.
"We have sound check soon." Vic stopped me.
"Oh." I muttered and frowned.
"No, it's just... someone might walk in looking for me." he tried.
"I thought you'd want to."
"I do. Trust me, Thea. I really really want to."
"Is this me being too forward?"
"No, of course not." Vic promised.
"Sorry." I laughed under my breath. I kissed his chest under his shirt and felt Vic sighed.
"Welcome home." Vic told me quietly.

Hey! Soooo, what did you think? Will Vic tell Thea? We have some serious drama coming up! I'm excited about it all. Hopefully something that you won't be expecting as well! Does anyone not ship Vic and Thea? I'm curious. Also if you can think up a ship name for them you get a mention.

Also I feel pretty bad about this but I think I should say it. It's no secret on this site that I have a few problems personally. I'm finding it really hard again. I've been feeling really shit and everything is going down again. I'm going to try my hardest to update my chapters, but if I can't manage it on time I'm sorry. I don't want to disappoint any of you. But I can't always bring myself to write.
