*Callas POV* The bone chilling cold wind rushed past me violently. It was 3 a.m. on a saturday morning in San Diego. Even though the wind was harsh it feld good against my hot face.It was disturbingly quiet for 3 a.m. The memories of the dream came back to haunt me once more and i shivered at the thought of the dream. I didnt understand why i was so disturbed by the dream, ive been having the same dream for the past 6 years. As i thought about the dream all the memories came back with it in disturbingly accurate detail. *Flashback* I was just getting home from my friend Taylors house and itwas getting late. As i walked up the driveway i could already smell the strong scent of alcohol and drugs. I was afraid to go inside so i waited for a while more before i saw a car that belonged to one of my dads friends, that was my que to go inside. Wen i got inside i ran up the stairs as fast as i could and got to the "safe room". It wasnt much of a safe room but it was the room tat me and my brothers stayed in whenever our father was drunk or high on something. As i walked in i started to search for my little brother Sam. Finally i saw him and my older brother Danny huddled in the cornre of thhe room beaten and bleeding. As soon as i saw they were beaten i started to cry uncontrillably because i wasnt there to defend my brothers and take the beating for them. They soon saw me crying in the middle of the room and came over to me and started to hug me. They didnt to ask whhy i was crying because they knew i cried whenever i wasnt able to protect them from our father. Two minuets later and i heard my father call me down stairs loudly. I started to go to the door and was stopped by Danny. " Calla you cant go out there es gonna kill you if you do i just feel it," he pleaded with me but knew i wouldnt do as he wished. I slowly opened the door and walked down the stairs quietly. As soon as i was down the stairs my father and his friends rushed up to me eager to dosomething to me. "Where have you been little slut?" my father asked. "I-i um was upstais just cleaning up" "Liar" All of a suddent he started to hit me repeatedly and his friends joined in by kicking me and after they were done they decided to rape me. Soon i tried to walk up the stairs and go to bed but before i could reach the top of the steps i blacked out. *End Of Flashback* I started to walk home and as i did i cried silently. I got back to my dark apartment and got back in bed. My cat Crystal came up and started nudging my chin and soon i gave in and fell asleep petting her. When i woke up i looked up at my alarm clock and noticed that it was 7:59 "shit" i mumbled as i got up and got ready for work quickly. It was 8:15 by the time i got to the little coffee shop on the end of Canter street. I walked in and put on my namebadge. I worked for about 4 hours and then went on break for about 20 to 25 minuets and then got back to work for 3 more hours. When i clocked out of work it was around 5:30. I was walking to my apartment listening to my music. As i listened to Stella by All Time Low i collided with something hard. I fell to the ground and looked up to find that the something that i ran into was actually a someone. I lloked up at him and found myself studying him intensly. He was tall,looked to be around his late 20's,had dark air and a shaved side while the other was longer,a dermail piercing,beautifully tanned skin that was covered in tattoos and thoses beautiful brown eyes. I was pulled out of my trance by his voice that was sweet and kind. 'Are you ok?" he asked and helped me up. "Yeah im fine" i said standing up and brushing myself off. "Thanks for helping me get up and sorry for bumping into you" i said "Its fine" he said. I waved and started to walk awya from yhe most beautiful man id ever seen and would never see again
