I Don't Know This Awkward Person To My Right

Britteny's POV

I was being vigorously poked in the face by none other than my best friend. "Dude.....Duuuuuddeee, DUDE!!" I jolted up from a slap across the face. "MY GOD XANDER!!!" I shouted at her while she laughed her ass off. Once she had calmed she started speaking. "Well, you wouldn't wake up and I had news to tell you, buuut guess what!!" She said jumping off the bed. "I don't know, what?" I asked while getting up and waking toward the bathroom to brush me teeth. "Guess whose parents are so awesome they got us tickets to House Party Tour?!?!?" She said getting even more jumpier, if that was even possible. I dropped the toothbrush that was previously in my mouth. "MAMA AND PAPA GOT US TICKETS TO THE HOUSE PARTY TOUR!!" I screamed in her face. "Yup and their last minute too!" She said but got kinda quiet afterwards. And I was kind of suspicious because she is never really quiet.

"Xander, what are you hiding?" I asked her while I finished brushing my teeth and washing my face. "Its...just..that we have to catch a plane in about 4-5 hours...." She said trailing off. "What? I don't understand? Why? What about work tonight?" I said bombarding her with questions. "Brit calm down! Its just the city it is New York and mama said since we couldn't go to Warped last year, because the y'know...she said this should make up for it.." I was glad Xander didn't say what had happened last summer because if she did, only god knows what would be happening right now. "Aw, well I have to tell mama and papa thank you, but what about work? There is no way I am missing that tour!!" I said cheering up. "OH, thank god! I thought you were going to get mad at me!! But I already sorted it out at work. They said since the both of us didn't take our days off for the last two weeks we get the rest of the week off." She said relieved. "Well lets get ready so I can say thank you and we need to go shopping anyways!!" I said grabbing my clothes and towel. "Buuut,I don't wanna go shopping it hurts my eyes!!" She whined. "Ok, we will just go to Hot Topic and Spencer's then." I said walking back to the bathroom. "YAY!!" She squealed grabbing her clothes and towel too.

I came out dressed in my usual clothes. And Xander came out as I was slipping on my shoes. "Ready?" She asked me. "Ya, I'll meet you outside." I said leaving the room. I heard mumble along the lines of 'theres....food..on..table..' I made my way to the kitchen, and I saw cinnamon rolls on the table. "Mmmhhmm." I said taking a bite of the warm roll. As I was washing the stickiness of the roll of Xander walked downstairs. "LETS GOOO!!!" she shouted grabbing the keys, but stopped at the full length mirror by the door to check her attire. The car ride was silent other thank the sound of Xander inhaling and exhaling a cancer stick. We got to Xander's parents house. It was a 3 story house, 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms...don't ask. We walked right through the door since we practically lived here. "MAMA!!!" We shouted simultaneously. We didn't call papa since we knew he was at work. "Mijas I'm in the kitchen!!" She shouted back. We walked into the kitchen and saw mama reaching for something in the upper cabinet. "Ma, let me help you." Xander said grabbing what mama needed. "Thank you mija. So girls shouldn't you be packing right now??" she said to us well mostly me. "We know, we just wanted to say thank you for dong that for us it means a lot. We appreciate it." I said giving her a tight hug. "Aw, well your welcome. It was nothing really." She said giving Xander a hug. We satyed for about 45 minuted more just talking until we decided we still had to shop and pack.

By the time we got back we probably bought all of Hot Topic and half of Spencers. We started packing and packing and pack. We were going to be in New York for a week, how much stuff did we need. Apparently a lot. The flight was at 3:10pm and right now it was 2:17pm. "XANDER HURRY THERE MIGHT BE TRAFFIC!!" You see we live in the San Fernando Valley, traffic is a common thing here just like a flying bird in the sky anywhere. "Dude it takes 20 minutes to get there and 20 minutes to get everything checked we'll be fine!!" She shouted back. I hope this trip is worth it....
