The Little Sister

Mike's Point of View

"Hey Sammy." I smiled picking him up. Sam had a huge smile on his face showing off his gums. "You seem happy to see daddy." I smiled at him walking out to the main lounge. I sat down and Sam laid on my chest, "Hey buddy." I looked up and saw Tony walking out of the bathroom. Sam started wiggling on my chest, I put my hand on his back to help keep him from falling off of me. Tony sat down next to me and took Sam, "Why you takin my son?" "He's my only nephew." Tony defended "Melinda has like 3 nephews." "Sams the cutest one." I nodded "That's right Perry." Tony rolled his eyes and rubbed Sam's back softly. "Imma go check on Karen." I said getting up. "Hey Mike do you know why there's blood stains on the bathroom floor?" Tony asked me before I walked through the door to the bunks. I shrugged, "Maybe someone fell over in the bathroom last night." Tony shook his head "It was on the cabinet and floor." I shrugged "I don't know I'll ask Karen." he nodded and went back to giving Sam all his attention.

"Hey baby." I smiled kissing Karen's forehead softly. She nuzzled into me and I wrapped my arms around her. "Baby it's time to get up." I whispered to her. "Okay." she said softly. I jumped down from our bunk and put my arms out for Karen. She rolled over and I helped her out of the bunk. "Karen who hit you." I said to her seriously when I noticed a hand print shaped purply red bruise on her cheek. She looked down at the ground, "Karen." she wiped her eyes and wrapped her arms around my waist tightly. I wrapped my arms around her shoulders. "Mike I need to leave." she said crying softly. "Baby you just got here." "Mikey please, I just need to go, I'll tell you what happened when you get home." I sighed "Can you stay another day?" she shook her head "I'm sorry Mikey." "It's okay baby." I kissed her lips softly feeling the same spark I felt every time I kissed her. "At least stay for the show this afternoon?" she nodded "Of course Mikey." I smiled "Thank you baby." Karen smiled, it was fake and I knew it. Somethings wrong but I don't know what it is, but I'm going to find out.
