Vic's Point of View

"Hey Karen?" I asked walking into my bedroom. "Yea Vic?" she asked sitting up with my comforter wrapped around her. Her hair was greasy and a in huge knots, her eyeliner and mascara stained her cheeks and her eyes were filled with sadness. "I know you don't want to hear this but Mike needs you right now." she scoffed "Wait for it, i'm gonna take him back and then he's going to cheat on me again...why do I always pick losers Vic?" she asked me leaning back against my headboard. I sighed and walked over to her and sat down next to her. I love Karen. I know she's Mike's girl, but I love her so much. "Karen?" she turned her head and faced me, "I love you." she laughed "I love you to Vic. I wish you were my brother in law sometimes." she put her head on my shoulder. "No Karen like I love you, love you" I said seriously. "What about Ryker?" "We went on one date and I never called her back." Karen was quite. "Listen Vic, I love you don't get me wrong. But i'm not IN love with you." I sighed and looked down at my hands in my lap. "I thought so." Karen nudged me "Vic listen," I looked up at her "If things were different then maybe we'd have a chance but i'm pregnant with your nephew." I sighed "You're right." Karen smiled weakly "I do love you and your little nose ring though." she flicked my nose ring gently. I laughed cracking a smile in the process. "What you wanna do?" I asked her "Lay here and cry." she responded and wiped a tear away from her eye.

It was about 8 at night when I heard Karen screaming from upstairs. "KAREN!" I yelled jumping out of my chair downstairs and running upstairs to my bedroom. Karen was laying on my bed sobbing as hard as a person could. "Karen!? Are you okay?!" I ran over to her and knelled down on the bed next to her. "KAREN!" I yelled, Karen ignored me and kept sobbing. "Karen what's wrong!" she clutched her phone. I pried it from her hand and saw a text from my mom...
