Chapter 17
Mike's Point of View
I walked my apartment and walked over to the kitchen and grabbed a beer. I walked back into my room and laid down on the bed turning the TV on. I took a couple sips and watched 16 & Pregnant before grabbing my phone off the nightstand. I decided to text Karen.
Mike: Hey babe :)
I waited about an hour before she finally texted back.
Karen: Oh hey
Mike: Everything okay?
Karen: Yea I was drivin
Mike: Oh so wanna hang out :)
Karen: I have sketching to do.
Mike: Can't you do that later?
Karen: No.
Mike: Are you mad at me?
Karen: No.
Mike: Okay then... i'm still probably gonna come over by the way
Karen: Whatever
I rolled my eyes and got my car keys off of the nightstand and walked outside to my car. This should be good.
Karen's Point of View
"Mike I said you couldn't come over." I said with my hand on my hip and the other on the door. "And you said everything was okay which clearly wasn't true." I rolled my eyes and tried to close the door. Mike's foot stopped me from closing it. "Karen." "Fine come on in." I opened the door and Mike walked in. "What's wrong baby?" Mike put his hands on my hips and tried pulling my into him. I pushed him away and walked into my bedroom. I heard Mike sigh from the living room as he walked back to my room.
"Karen seriously, what's wrong?" Mike asked me closing the bedroom door. "You're a liar that's what's wrong." Mike shot me a confused look. "You said you'd never cheat on me..." I said quietly "Baby i'm not cheating on you." "I saw you at the diner with that girl." Mike chuckled "I went with Casey and Jen just happened to be there." I rolled my eyes "Sure." "Do you want to call Casey and ask him?" "No." "Well does that mean you believe me?" "No." "Karen I love you." I looked up at Mike and felt tears coming up to eyes. "Don't cry." Mike said pulling me into a hug. "I'm sorry Mike, I believe you." I cried into his shirt. "It's okay." he kissed my head and we stood there me crying for a little while.
