Feels like forever

*Cece's POV*
"Hey have you seen Copeland? We have the same class but I haven't seen her at all today." I asked my friend Courtney.
"Nope. Last thing I heard was she was grounded for months. But it's only the first hour, I'm sure she'll be here." She replied.
"Ugh. Where could she be." We kept talking until a really cute guy came over.
"Hey." Was he talking to me?
"Hi. Do I know you?" I've never seen him before.
"actually no, my brother and I just moved. I saw how pretty you are and decided to come talk to you." I smiled and looked down, I really didn't want to embarrass myself in front of him. He took his finger and lifted my chin. "I'm Jackson, here's my number I would love to hear your voice again. He handed me a piece of paper which I gladly took and he walked to his class I'm guessing.
"Oh my god! Cece he just gave you his number!"
"I know! He has some guts, I mean seriously it's the first day!" We both laughed and headed off to class.
-time skip-
"So am I still coming over?"
"Court I would but I really need to talk to my dad about...ya know."
I understand, but he hasn't told you yet?"
"No he hasn't he told me he would tell me in the morning but he didn't so now he's gonna tell me when I get home." I was determined to have him tell me it's been 6 years.
"Well good luck." And with that I walked out the the buses.
"Cece!" I turned around to find a with some boy walking this way. "This is my friend Jake. Him and his brother just moved here."
"Oh. So you're Jackson's brother. I just talked to him awhile ago. He's really nice and he gave me his number!" Zack laughed while Jake had this unpleasant look on his face. He started saying stuff about how Jackson treated girls terrible. But he seemed nice.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to your feelings."
"It's okay we can still be friends." He nodded and then him and Jake walked to his house.
-time skip-
"DAD IM HOME!"
"I'm in the kitchen princess!"
"So dad, you promised me you would tell me this morning. Well you didn't so you can tell me now."
"Look. Princess I can't tell you." Was he serious!
"And why not. Dad it's been 6 years!"
"I know, I know. But I'm not ready to talk about it."
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOURE NOT READY! AT LEAST YOU KNOW HOW SHE DIED! SHE WAS MY MOTHER AND YOU WONT TELL ME!!" I was so mad, he wouldn't tell me because he wasn't ready. He should be because he should have known this day would come. "You know what forget it! Don't tell me, I don't care." By now I had tears running down the side of my face.
"I will tell you I ju-"
"No just don't." I got up from the table and walked upstairs. I might died before I will know how my mother did.
