MIKE'S POV.

I woke up to Sara softly shaking me awake and I opened my eyes, cursing at the bright light shining through the opened curtains and at the pain in my head.

"I thought you might need these." Sara said, placing two painkillers in my hand and a bottle of water in my other. I smiled thankfully at her and gulped half of the water down with the pills. I looked at Sara, seeing her freshly washed and not long out of the shower. Her face was completely free of makeup, her hair was thrown up in a damp, messy bun and she still only had my tank top on. And she looked absolutely flawless. "I'm going to put my shorts on then call a cab to take me home, where I can get a change of clothes and get ready-"

"Where are we going?" I laughed, unaware that there was any plans made.

"Well, if you had let me finish, you would have heard me say that we're all going to chill out for a little while then go out for lunch then to the movies." She smiled.

"Oh. Okay." I smiled, finishing the rest of my water, then pulling her down to cuddle with me.

"Mike, I need to gooo." She whined, sounding like a cute little girl. I tickled her sides and she squealed and squirmed and giggled, and I'm telling you, it was like music to my ears. "Mike, come on." She laughed and I finally stopped tickling her, but I was still hovering over her, her hands on either side of my face and I was holding her close to me.

I sighed quietly, remembering last night and my face must have turned from happy to confusion because Sara's thumbs stroked my cheek bones softly and she furrowed her eyebrows, "Everything okay?"

I looked at her and sighed, sitting up and pulling her to me, so that I was sitting against the headboard and she was sitting on my lap, facing me. "You know, what you said last night has confused me a little." I muttered.

"What did I say?" She said, her eyes looking pained, "Did I hurt you? Mikey, if I hurt you I'm so sorry - I didn't mean it, I-"

I cut her off and shook my head, "You didn't hurt me, babe. You just..."

"I just?" She sighed and I looked down to her hands, to see they were shaking. "Mikey please tell me..."

"I told you I liked you, a lot, and you told me you liked me too..." I started and her face lit up momentarily, "Then, you said you were scared and that I wouldn't understand."

There was an awkward moment of silence until she sighed, looking into my eyes, searching for something - I don't know what it was, but she was definitely searching for something. "I'll tell you tonight, okay? After the movies, we'll go back to my place, and we'll talk." She said, kissing my cheek and getting up, not giving me a chance to object, "I love you, Mikey - you're the best friend I've got over here and I'm so lucky I do have you. I gotta go though, but I'll phone you when I'm ready."

And off she went, out of my room, and I felt even more confused than I did in the beginning.

HEY GUYS.

Okay, I am so so so so so sorry this has taken me so long to update, I am the WORST person in the world. I'll explain it all when I update my Vic story. Please, please don't hate me, I feel so bad.

Also, you'll probably want to read the previous chapter - and you'll be happy to know (or at least I hope you will) that there's another chapter of this coming up tonight, as soon as I update my Vic story! :)
