True Love.
Prologue.
I put the very last thing I needed in my suitcase, looked around the now dull and lifeless apartment one last time. I sighed, putting the suitcase on its wheels and dragging it behind me as I walked from my old life to my new one.
The flight to San Diego wasn’t bad. I think it was mostly because I was just excited to get away, start something new, be someone new, I guess. I felt like I needed to escape from the UK. It just wasn’t a good place for me, it held too many memories I’d like to forget about.
As soon as I got off of the plane, I phoned my mum to let her know I got there safely. The conversation consisted mostly of my answers being ‘yes’ or ‘no’ and the old classic, ‘I know mum, I won’t forget’ – I ended the phone call after that and looking around for a taxi. I’m pretty small, so searching for one in amongst a few tall bodies was not fun.
I finally found one and put my suitcase into the boot and getting into the back, playing about with my phone. I smiled at all the goodbye texts I had from friends or family I’d left back in the UK, I’ll miss them, but this will be better for me. I’ve always dreamed of living in San Diego.
I even looked for a job in a tattoo place before I came here, so I knew I could start working as soon as I got here. I’m so glad I did, because I only had enough money to buy an apartment and a bed, but no-where near enough for the rest of the things you’d need in a house. After about 20 minutes we ended up at my apartment. I paid and thanked the driver, before getting my suitcase out of the boot and going up into my new flat, my new life. I smiled, happy with myself that I’d actually done it, I was actually here. I was also happy to see that some boxes were already shipped. I was only hoping it was my bedding. I let myself in and sat my suitcase in my room, explored my beautiful apartment with the beautiful views, and looked through the 5 boxes that were here. I set up my bed and fell asleep quickly after, feeling happy and excited to start my new life here.
I can already feel good things happening, and I haven’t even been here one night yet.

I love writing Mike stories, and I have good ideas for this one. I know Prologues kind of suck, so I'm sorry, but the next update will be up by tomorrow, and I hope you'll be excited for it because I know I am :)
Mike will be in the next update also! x
@cosette_
I'm sorry, I promise I will soon. But if you read my last authors note I hope it'll help you understand why I'm not updating that much.
