Stay Away From My Friends

It was two in the morning and people where dancing, singing different songs at the same time, and drunk. Natalie and Austin were dancing with people crowded around them in the dance floor, Austin occasionally kissing her and hold her close to him. Natalie pulled away after a while when Austin began dancing with Alan and they told drunken jokes. Natalie walked over to the bar, getting another shot of tequila and throwing her head back, drinking it down and set the glass down. A hand covered her eyes and she giggled, stumbling with the chuckling figure as she got led into the back. She heard the music grow softer except for the bass that pumped throughout the whole floor.
Natalie felt herself being pushed into a wall as a pair of lips went straight to her neck. Natalie giggled; holding onto the shirt of the figure she assumed was Austin and moved her head, letting him do what he wanted. His hands uncovered her eyes, one lowering itself to her thigh and hitching it around his waist, the other hand rested on her lower back, pulling her closer. Natalie took charge and moved his head, biting the soft skin and leaving a mark. The man growled and grounded his hips into her. Natalie’s eyes snapped open and realized it was too dark to see anything, other than the silhouette of the person. Her hands moved to his hair, expecting the familiar locks of hair that she loves, but finding half of it shaved. She gasped, having the man invade her mouth and she closed her eyes, allowing him to kiss her.
Tony pulled her closer, wanting to never let her go until he felt her push him away. “No, I shouldn’t do this.” She whispered, trying to get away. Tony pulled her closer and shook his head.
“Natalie, please.” Tony tried to reason with her.
“Tony, I have Austin and I’m not going to do this to him.” Natalie was able to push him away but Tony held her arm.
“Stay here, please? Just stay with me.” Tony begged, thinking he was hallucinating. Natalie pulled away and Tony slumped against the wall, pounding his fist to it. Moni was grinding on the bartender while another took over for him. Tony pushed the elevator button, going down to the lobby and walking out. He roamed the streets of England and found a few girls standing by a building. He passed by, having one girl pull his arm and he turned to her. She smiled at him and he returned it, pulling her with him.

Austin woke up with Natalie next to him and he groaned at the headache he had. He sat up, seeing the aspirin next to him and a glass of water waiting for him. He swallowed the pills, taking deep gulps of the water and slumped back into bed. Natalie was in her dress from last night, holding her pillow tightly in her arms. Austin chuckled, getting back up and changing out of his clothes and going to take a shower.
Natalie opened her eyes, looking around and remembering last night. She held her head, sitting up and going to the closet. She changed into her favorite pajamas and slipper boots. She changed plugs into simpler ones and walked out of the room, going to the huge living room and sitting on the couch. She turned the TV on, flipping through the channels before settling on the movie Taken. Natalie watched the movie, her legs curled up to her chest as she hugged them, her cheek resting on her knees. She heard shuffling behind her and she turned her head to see Austin walk into the kitchen wearing blue plaid pajama pants and a black T-shirt. She turned back to the movie, hearing the sink turn on and a glass of water being filled.
“Last night was crazy.” He said before drinking the water.
“I know, but people had fun.” Natalie smiled, hugging her legs tighter. Austin walked over, sitting next to her and nodded.
“Yeah, it was fun.” He smiled and watched the movie with her. Natalie looked at the floor, remembering what happened last night with Tony and she bit her lip. She let her legs fall to the ground and stood up.
“I’ll be back.” She walked to the room, grabbing her phone and walking into the bathroom, locking it behind her. She sat on the floor, unlocking her phone and opened the message app. She typed the familiar number and began typing.
To Tony: Hey Tony? It’s Nat; can we meet up and talk somewhere?
She sent the message and waited until her would answer. After a few minutes, her phone lit up and the number popped up.
From Tony: Natalie? Uh, sure. Meet me at the lobby in five okay?
To Tony: Sure, be right down.
Natalie unlocked the door and walked out of the bathroom, looking around and seeing the room empty. She walked out and grabbed a hair tie. “I’ll be back babe.” She called out, going to the front door and opening it.
“Okay, be careful, angel.” Austin called and she closed the door behind her, walking to the elevator. She pushed the button and waited for it to get to her. Once it finally reached her, she walked in, pushing the ground floor button and waited for it to move. She stepped out when the elevator arrived to the floor, seeing the man at the front desk typing on his computer. Natalie walked over to the couches and sat on one next to the window, looking out. She wondered what she would tell Tony about last night. Why did she even do that to Austin?
“Natalie?” Her head snapped at the sound of his voice and she looked up at Tony.
“Hey, Tony.” She greeted as he sat across from her. Tony looked at her, taking in her outfit. “We need to talk about last night.” Tony sighed, resting his elbows on his knees.
“These feelings aren’t going away Natalie. Just because you’re with Austin doesn’t mean shit.” His voice rose a bit and Natalie stared at him.
“You lied to me Tony. I’m willing to forgive you as long as you respect the fact that I’m with Austin.” Tony scoffed, getting up and kneeling in front of her.
“You belong with me, babe. Give me just one more chance and you’ll see.” Natalie looked out the window and sighed.
“Tony… Don’t do this to me.” She said, closing her eyes. Tony grabbed her face in his hands and pulled her down to him. He softly kissed her, feeling her tense up. Tony thought she was going to pull away and slap him. But he was wrong. Natalie wrapped her hands around his neck, pulling him closer and kissing him back.
Natalie pulled away, catching her breath and she closed her eyes. “Shit…” Natalie got up, having Tony get up too and stand in front of her.
“I’m sorry, but this still proves you still love me.” He whispered. Natalie looked at him and bit her lip. “Tell me right now, after that amazing kiss, that you don’t still love me. Tell me, and I won’t bother you again.” Natalie continued to stare at him and he waited for her answer. She finally opened her mouth but no words came out, instead, she walked back to the elevators going up to her suite. She walked in, going to the living room and sat next to Austin.
“Where’d you go?” He asked, taking a bite of his muffin.
“Nowhere.” She answered, grabbing a blueberry muffin and eating it. Austin looked at her, doubting her for a moment.
“I love you.” He said, continuing to look at her. Natalie stayed quiet before she answered.
“Me too.” She replied, never taking her eyes off the movie. Austin looked at her, making sure she was fine before deciding it was probably nothing.
