The crowd cheered as they sang along to the songs that the band played. A huge grin was on the front man’s face and tears streamed down his face. At the end the crowd cried with him. He wiped the tears away, thanking the crowd for the wonderful night. The photographer climbed the stage, taking photos of the crowd, a grin slowly spreading across her face. She walked off stage, joining the crew as they cleaned up cables and amps.

“Thank you Chicago!” Austin screamed and walked off stage. He neared the table and picked up the empty can of Monster. He looked around for the extra and frowned when he couldn’t find it.

“One is enough.” He heard. Natalie stood by the stairs; her once waist-length blonde hair was now mid-back and choppy. She still had her gauges but she had left her piercings a long time ago. Natalie turned to Austin and smiled. “You have heart problems and I’m not letting you go through another surgery scare like the first.” Austin chuckled and shook his head, watching as she turned to Adam Elmakias and they showed their share of photos.

“Thanks for inviting me again. I hope to see you both at the Kerrang Awards?” Adam turned to Austin as Natalie left the building to the tour bus.

“Yeah, we’ll be there, without a doubt.” Adam smiled and said his goodbyes as he left. Austin stayed behind to help a bit but the crew sent him away to rest. He climbed on the bus to see Alan taking out towels from the back room, Aaron was taking a shower, Tino was asleep and Phil was changing out of his sweaty clothes. Natalie had her full attention to her laptop on the couch, away from the band. Austin walked to the back, changing into a pair of clean pajama pants and tank top. He walked to Natalie, sitting next to her and seeing the photos. She began to file them and save them to her laptop, ignoring Austin.

“Can I help you?” Natalie asked, shutting her laptop off. Austin put her laptop aside and rested his head on her lap.

“Can I lay here?” He asked. Natalie laughed and petted his hair.

“You already are.” Austin looked up at her and cupped her cheek.

“How did we end up like this?” He whispered. Natalie shrugged, looking at him.

“I honestly don’t know.” She whispered back. Austin sat up, grabbing her face in his hands and pressed his lips to hers. Natalie kissed him back and she wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his around her waist.

“Let’s go to bed, angel.” Austin whispered against her lips, pulling her closer. Natalie smiled and shook her head.

“A shower would be better.” She whispered. Austin chuckled and stood up bringing her with him.

“A shower it is!” He grinned, as Natalie laughed. Austin towed her to the back and pushed passed Alan.

“Don’t be too loud this time!” Alan yelled at them but it was too late. Natalie was already laughing and squealing behind the locked door.

Natalie woke up in Austin’s bunk without the comfort of his arms around her. She stood up, putting her hair in a lazy ponytail and walked to the front. Austin was sitting on the couch, on the phone with someone. She sat next to him and he pulled the phone away, kissing her quickly before going back on again.

“Yeah, we’ll take the next flight out. Our tour is over anyway and we have a few months off. Aright, bye.” He hung up and turned to Natalie. “Well, the Kerrang Awards are in a week and we have to fly to the UK for them. Then we throw a huge party, and spend the rest of the time home.” Natalie smiled and moved to sit on Austin’s lap.

“Home, sounds lovely.” Austin chuckled and hugged her tightly.

“I love you angel.” He said, kissing her temple.

“I love you too.” She said, looking up at him. Austin kissed her and she pulled away, getting up to make her usual breakfast. Alan walked out not long after and yawned, his red hair wild and gravity defying. Natalie giggled, making him a bowl of cereal as well. Alan sat on the other couch and grabbed the remote, turning the TV on and flipping through the channels. Natalie joined him, giving him the bowl and he smiled, thanking her. Natalie sat next to him, eating hers and Austin watched the TV as well. Alan stopped flipping the channels when he saw a commercial for cats.

“I miss my cat.” Alan whispered. Natalie looked at him and at the commercial.

“You can bring him to the awards, but of course, he has to stay in the hotel room.” Alan nodded, changing the channels and settled with a random show. The two ate in silence as Austin watched the movie and occasionally looking at Natalie. After being with them for two tours, he confessed and kissed her. They have been dating for more than a year. Austin really thought that she would be his one and only, he would never let her go.

Natalie looked up, seeing Tino walk in the lounge and look at the TV. “I love this show.” He said, sitting and watching it. Phil walked out; joining them and all that was left sleeping was Aaron. Natalie finished her bowl as Aaron walked out and she walked to the back to change. She took off her pajamas and put on her normal clothes. She looked at her phone as she got a call from Alex. She smiled, quickly calling him back.

‘Hello?’ Alex’s groggy voice said.

“Hope I didn’t wake you.” Natalie bit her lip. Austin walked in and wrapped his arms around her from behind. Natalie rested her back on him and put Alex on speaker.

‘Oh, hey Nat! It’s nothing, I had to get up anyway. I was wondering of you were going to the awards with Austin. I look forward to talking with you about a job opportunity with us.’ Natalie smiled and looked at Austin. He smiled back and she turned back to the phone.

“Of course, it’ll be my first time going to the awards. I look forward to seeing all the bands that are going.” Alex let out a chuckle and nodded.

‘Awesome, mind taking pictures of the band if we win any? I love your work, even Adam feels that you’re better!’ Natalie laughed and shook her head.

“You must be kidding me! I’m still learning from him! But of course, I would love to take your photos.”

‘Great, see you then.’ Natalie hung up and she turned to Austin.

“You don’t mind do you? If they ask me to go on tour with them?” She asked. Austin sighed and shrugged.

“Honestly, yes, I do mind. You won’t be with me for a long time. I’ll miss you too much.” Natalie looked at him and bit her lip. “But at the same time, you can spend time with your friends. You don’t really see them a lot.” Austin confessed. Natalie grabbed his hands, holding his tightly in hers.

“You know I’ll be faithful to you Austin, I’m not like your ex-wife. I love you too much.” Austin smiled, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her. Natalie pulled him to her, standing on her tip toes to reach him better. Austin trailed his hand up Natalie’s back, tangling his hand in her hair and moved her head, latching his mouth to her neck.

“And this would be the moment we leave before this gets any farther.” Natalie pulled away, seeing Phil walk in and she laughed a little.

“Well, leave.” Austin barked, pulling Natalie closer and Phil nodded.

“Pancakes anyone? There’s a Denny’s close by.” Phil said, leaving the back room. Natalie gasped and escaped Austin’s hold.

“I want pancakes!” She yelled, running to Phil. He laughed and nodded. Austin watched as Natalie grinned at Phil who explained his love for chocolate chip pancakes. He chuckled, walking to the back and changing into better clothes.
