Nicole’s POV

Opening my eyes, I glanced at Vic, who was staring at me, deep in thought. He gave me a small smile.

“Morning princess,” he said.

I blushed slightly and buried my head into his chest, “Don’t call me that,” I muttered quietly.

Vic lifted my head with his fingers, “What a princess?” he asked, smirking.

I nodded and turned away from him. Vic started moving under me. I had no idea what he was doing. Soon I was under him, with him above me, his arm holding himself up. His breath collided with mine and I felt myself getting lost into his eyes.

“You okay there princess?” Vic asked, the smirk back on his face.

I nodded slightly and stared down at his lips. “I got a bit lost,” I breathed out.

“Oh yeah?” Vic whispered, brushing his nose against mine, planting a tiny kiss on the edge of my chin.

“Yeah,” I said quietly.

I lifted my arms and wrapped them around Vic’s neck and pulled him down against me. I needed to feel him close to me. He made me feel safe; he made all the bad in the world go away.

Vic played with my hair, getting lost in thought again. Closing my eyes, I savored the feeling of Vic’s fingers running up and down my arm, leaving tingles behind. All of a sudden, Vic was on top of me again, now looking at me with an emotion I didn’t recognize. He rested his head against mine and said those words again.

“I love you Nicole,” he said quietly.

And I knew I couldn’t fight it anymore. I couldn’t fight with my emotions anymore. So I did the first thing that came to my mind. I cupped his cheeks and brought his lips towards mine, and just as I was about to kiss him, the rest of Pierce the Veil came through the door.

“Good morning mother fuckers!” Jaime yelled.

Jaime you little fucker.
