Is This Actually Happening...?
Jason's POV
I felt so nervous giving her that note. My stomach was going insane and I felt like I was gonna puke. But I held it down for Fionna....
That didn't sound as romantic as I wanted it to be...
Anyways, she read the note and she didn't look at me, she didn't even want to look up at the teacher.
Her hair covered most of her face so I couldn't see her expression.
When the bell rang, she ran out and I tried to follow her.
At some point, I lost her in the crowd. I punched the locker and leaned against it.
I'm such an idiot!
I knew this whole thing would ruin our friendship... and now she doesn't want to be friends anymore.
I walked through the halls and felt someone drag me into the custodian's closet.
It was dark and I couldn't see anything. Until the lights were turned on.
Fionna's POV
I couldn't risk being seen by Taylor so I had to hide and drag him into the custodian's closet.
I felt like I was kidnapping someone.
I heard him awkwardly just walking around in the dark so I looked for the light switch and flipped it on.
And I just charged after him with a hug before the lights even came on.
He looked down at me as his big gorgeous brown eyes shined perfectly because of the light.
"Fionna?"
"Yupp, it's little old me," I smiled and he hugged me back.
"Why are we in here? If you don't mind me asking."
"Well, it's because of Taylor... She doesn't want me around her... Or anyone, not even you,"
"Well, fuck Taylor. And don't you think we should get out of here before he comes back,"
"Who? Larry? Man, that is the laziest custodian I've ever seen. He's probably sitting in the girl's bathroom reading a newspaper,"
I smiled and the more I moved around in the custodian's office, the more he looked closely at me like if I was an experiment.
"What's that?" He said, pointing to my bruised caused by Taylor and her stupid little posse.
I stayed quiet, not wanting him to examine me closer.
"Just a couple of bruises that's all.
He gets closer to me and slides off my jacket. He takes a step back and his jaw drops because of all the cuts and bruises.
He walks up to me and pulls me into a hug. I breathe into his chest, trying to hold back tears.
"I won't let them hurt you anymore... I'll try everything, just to make sure nothing happens to you,"
He pulls away and looks my in the eyes.
Our faces are just inches away and they get closer as the seconds get closer.
I start to think so many things, like what if this doesn't end up right, what if I do something wrong, what if I burp!?
After all, it is my first kiss... I want this to be perfect.
It wasn't long until I realized our lips finally touched and I almost fainted... Like, literally, I lost the feeling in my legs...
"Wow..." He said.
"Uh, I'm, what, did I do something wrong? Was it right? I-"
"It was perfect..." He smiled.
We sat on the couch and I guess at some point, we fell asleep together.
I woke up on his chest and realized school was over. I shook him awake and he walked me outside, with our fingers entwined together.
Austin's POV
I was on my way to pick up Fionna from school and the first thing I see is the guy from yesterday and Fionna holding hands, as he walks her to the corner.
I smirked as she gets into the car and looks at me.
"Can I say it!?" I shout.
She sighs and gives me a 'go ahead' look.
"FIONNA'S GOT A BOYFRIEND, FIONNA'S GOT A BOYFRIEND! WOW! Wait til I tell he guys about this!"
She laughs and punches me on the arm.
"Okay, Carlile, that's enough!" She giggled.
