Adopted

Fionna's POV

I ran up to my room and slammed shut my door. Tears just went down my face as I started to get a pounding headache from crying so much.

I scream and start throwing things around the room. I feel my legs start to get weak and I fall on my knees as Austin's word echo through my head.

"It was a mistake to adopt you! It was a mistake to adopt you! It was a mistake to adopt you!"

Is that really has he feels about me? I'm just a mistake?

I walk into my closet and grab my backpack. If he doesn't want me around then I'll just leave...
I grab a bunch of random clothes and throw them into my bag as quickly as I could.

I hear the guys talking downstairs to Austin.

"Dude, I can't believe you said that," Alan said.
"It just came out, I couldn't control what I was saying..."

Tears started to show up in my eyes, but I blinked them away before they fell.

I open my window and say goodbye to my room, I mean... Old room. I swing my bag onto my back and crawl out.
I jump from the roof and fall onto hands and knees. It hurt but I tried to stay as quiet as I could so that I wouldn't attract any attention to myself.

I stand up and walk towards a bus stop. I'm really doing this.
I'm really leaving...

Alan's POV

I watched as Austin grabbed a beer after a beer. It was actually quiet for a moment. And then I realized, it's too quiet.

I run up to Fionna's room and see her window open. Not a single sign of her any where.

"GUYS! Fionna ran away!" I yelled as I ran downstairs and grabbed my keys.

"What?! No, this is all my fault. I can't belie-"

"Austin, just shut up and get in the car. She couldn't had gone far," I shouted. I know it was probably a bit harsh but that girl is like my little sister...

I needed her home where it's safe.

We all get into the truck and drive around the block. Nothing. I start going a little farther out and there was still nothing!

"Maybe we should check by the bus stop," Phil said as he looked through every piece of land that we passed.
"But nearly all the way down town!"
"You never know. She probably wanted to get as far as possible..."

I drove to the bus stop and there she was. There's no way she would do this...

The bus pulled up and I noticed that she hesitated to get on. "I knew it," I whispered followed by a sigh of relief. I panicked as she start to grab all her stuff and walk towards the bus.

"Fionna!" Austin yelled as he ran to her. "Come on, you know I didn't mean it when I said you were a mistake," Austin's eyes began to tear up but he wiped them away before she noticed. He tried to be strong... But it didn't seem to be going well.

"No, I get that you don't want me so I figured I would do you a favor," Fionna said. She knew that Austin would let her go so she pushed him onto the soft grass and ran into the bus.

I can't believe she did that...

Notes

So I decided to re-write the chapter since I didn't really like it much and sorry it's a bit short, I'll try to make it TWICE AS LONG!. Also, Alex(the Co-Author) seems to be going through a tough time.
I know how it probably feels for this wonderful person and how bout we give her a little love to lighten up those little spirits of her's.
