You Said You Ended Up In Palm Springs Dancing On Tables

After going to Taco Bell, Jaime, Tony, Mike, Ashley, Dylan and I were all in our bus on the way to some club. Everyone was dancing and having a good time. Everyone, that is, except for Tony.
I noticed that he wasn’t with us in the living room of the bus, but presumably in the back lounge. I mean, he was a bit shy, but he was comfortable around us and liked to have a good time.
I walked away from everyone dancing and partying and made my way to the back lounge. Tony was just sitting there with his headphones on. They were loud enough for me to confirm with myself that music was, in fact, playing, but they were too quiet for me to make out what song was playing.
I closed the door loudly, causing Tony to look up at me. He turned down the volume on his phone, took an earphone out, and looked at me blankly. “Are you alright, bro?” I said to him, trying not to act too concerned.
“Yeah it’s whatever.” He kept that same blank expression on his face.
“Hmph, you sure?” I obviously wasn’t too convinced, and I knew he could tell.
“Yep.” He turned back to his phone and put his music back on. I sighed and walked out of the back lounge.

Dylan’s P.O.V
I saw Vic walk into the back lounge. I figured he went back there to see what was up with Tony, and I’m glad he did, because I was too nervous to do it myself. I didn’t know what about Tony made me nervous. I mean, I was comfortable with pretty much all four guys, but it was something about him…
Not even five minutes later, Vic walks out of the back lounge. I went up to him and said in his ear, “Is he okay?”
Vic looked at me and said, “He says he is, but I don’t really believe it.”
“Oh,” I tried not to think too much of it, and I went back to everyone else. About fifteen minutes later, we were at the club. Everyone rushed off the bus, and I thought about waiting to see if Tony was going to join us, but I decided against it.
We were just about at the entrance, when I realized that I had left my ID in my purse, which was still on the bus. I said to no one specifically, “I left my ID on the bus, I’ll be back.” I heard a bunch of okay’s and alright’s. I walked back to the bus, and as soon as I turned the corner to the ‘living room,’ I bumped into Tony. “Oh, I’m sorry!”
He chuckled and said, “It’s alright.” We looked in each other’s eyes, just like we did that first night six months ago, and I got that nervous feeling again.
I reached down, grabbed my purse, and said, “You ready to go?”
He grinned and said, “Yeah, come on.” We talked a bit on the way to the rest of our group for the first time all night. I still didn’t know what his problem had been, but Vic had already asked without success, and I didn’t want to push the topic.
We got into the club and it was absolutely insane. There were girls dancing on the bar, everyone was jumping so much that it felt like a never ending earthquake, and people were running around half naked, even though it wasn’t even a strip club. We decided we weren’t gonna stay for long, and agreed to meet back in the bus in about an hour.
I danced, jumped, partied, took a few shots, and just had a great time. By the time we were all back on the bus, we were all buzzed and still able to function, not so much wasted…yet…
We decided to go to their house. It was huge, and had a beautiful pool in the back. We all walked into the living room, and opened up bottles of whiskey and vodka, and grabbed a whole lot of beers. We turned on loud music, and for there to only be six of us, we probably made a lot of noise.
I looked at my phone, it was 1 a.m., but I wasn’t ready to go home yet. I plopped on the couch; I was all sweaty and my makeup was running, but I really didn’t care. Tony was dancing with Jaime, which made me smile, because he didn’t seem as down as he was earlier. Mike, Vic, and Ashley were huddled together passing around a bottle of whiskey and dancing. What a night. A few minutes later, Vic plopped down next to me. Before I could say anything, he grabbed my face in his hands, and his lips collided with mine. I started to kiss back, but something didn’t feel right, and I pushed away.
The music was still playing, but Ashley and Tony had stopped moving. And soon Jaime and Mike stopped too. Ashley looked a bit upset, and Tony had the same blank expression he had before we got to the club.
Tony glared at me, then walked over to Ashley and kissed her fiercely. He then looked at Vic, then stomped up the stairs, probably to his room. Jaime tried to revive the good energies, but no one was in the mood anymore, and Mike walked to the stereo and turned off the music. Vic looked at me and said, “I’m sorry, Dylan…” He said some more stuff but I wasn’t listening. He was really drunk, and his words were slurring. I couldn’t tell if he was being truthful or not. I just looked at the ground and thought about Tony. Did I just hurt his feelings? He barely even talks to me. Does he like me? Do I like him…? Ugh, I was so confused, and I didn’t really want to talk to Vic.
Everyone was too wasted to drive home, so we all slept in the living room on the floor. I wasn’t happy, though, and hopefully I would be able to make things better in the morning.
