The Thing I Think I Love, Will Surely Bring Me Pain.
Chapter 12.
"HE WHAT?!" We all screamed. She started to shake in our arms and cry again.
"D-Don't scream.. p-please.." She whispered. We all nodded and I picked her up and carried her on the bus. By the deathgrip she had around my neck, she didn't want me to leave, so I sat down with her on my lap and rubbed her back as she cried into my shirt. Mike slammed his fist into the cabinet, causing her to jump.
"WHERE IS THAT FUCKER?!"
"Calm down, you can't be like this around her dude. Now's not the time to be mad, it's the time to be here for Addie." Vic said while grabbing a wash cloth and placing it on her cuts. I nodded at him, giving him a silent 'thank you' and he gave me a sad smile in return.
He was right. As angry as we all were, we had to comfort Adeline, she came first. But believe me when I say that the second she's calmed down, that bastard won't see the light of day.
"What's everyone's problem? I woke up to-" Steph stopped in her tracks and looked at Addie.
"The fuck's her problem? She's always crying I swear. She's like a fucking charity case." Our jaws dropped.
"Steph, tell me. How the fuck can you be such a cold hearted bitch?" Jaime spat.
"EXCUSE ME?!"
"I don't know what I ever saw in you. I want you and your shit, off of the bus by morning."
"We aren't even anywhere near San Diego!"
"Then I'll buy you a fucking plane ticket, but I want your ass out of my life."
"Just fucking leave her stranded. Don't waste anymore money on her." Mike said, his eyes burning into her. "You don't disrespect our Addie like that. You've become nothing but a stuck up, selfish, whiny bitch since the start of this tour. And to even think we fucking liked you."
"YOU KNOW WHAT?! FUCK YOU ALL! ENJOY THE BIPOLAR SLUT!"
"Anything is better than your ass." She rolled her eyes and stomped into the bunks. Addie's tears slowed and her breathing started to shallow, signalling that she was falling asleep.
"Should we let her sleep?" I whispered. They sighed and nodded.
"No way in hell is she going back to-" Vic started, but was interrupted by the door closing. We looked over to see that Jaime and Mike were gone and looked at each other wide eyed.
"I'll go get them." Vic said and handed me the damp wash cloth. I nodded and placed it to her wrists.
Who would do this to a beautiful girl like Addie?
ADDIE~
"ADDIE!" I heard Dave's voice ring throughout the bus. I sighed and told Tony that I would probably be over soon and hung up, walking out to the front lounge.
"Hey.. did you have.." I started, but just by looking at his eyes and how he walked, I knew something wasn't right.
It was how Marky used to walk when he was high..
"Oh hey..Y-Yeah. Loads of fun. C'mere."
"N-No. I'll just stay-"
"YOU DO WHAT I SAY YOU FUCKING SLUT!" He screamed and punched me in the eye. I looked at him, shocked and grabbed my face.
"Who are you.. This isn't the Dave I know." I whispered. He chuckled and stumbled towards me.
"Yooouu lloookk awfuullyy ppreettyyy tonnnightt" He slurred and brushed some hair out of my face.
"St-Stay away from me!" He growled and threw me on the ground, causing pain to shoot throughout my body. He got on top of me and I screamed, praying someone, anyone could hear because he had overpowered me so easily, leaving me defenseless.
"YOU WANT TO SCREAM?!" He shouted and slapped me across the face and I whined in pain. "I'LL FUCKING GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO SCREAM ABOUT!" He said, unbuttoning his pants and throwing mine off.
"NO! STOP!" He laughed evilly and forced his lips on mine sloppily, making me want to puke. I felt up the cabinets and felt a vase on the counter. I grabbed it and slammed it against his head, making glass shatter over us both. He instantly passed out on top of me and I pushed him off of me and crawled away from him and pulled my knees up to my chest as tears fell down my face.
After about half an hour I got up and put on my jeans. I looked through the glass and grabbed the sharpest shard I could find and took off.
"ADDIE! WAKE UP!"
"NO!" I screamed and shot up. Tony pulled me against him as my breathing sped up. He shushed me and kissed my forehead.
"It's okay.."
"It happened again Tony! It happened again!" I screamed and started to cry.
"Shh, he's not going to hurt you, I'm here."
"H-How long was I asleep?"
"Not even 15 minutes.."
"Great. How am I supposed to sleep if this is all that's going to happen?! Oh God, Tony, I can't. I can't continue to relive it." He sighed and I looked up at him as he threw his head back a tear fell down his cheek. He wiped it and looked back at me.
"I-I'm sorry. I should've protected you.."
"This isn't your fault okay? Don't think like that. Please."
"Yes it is Adds. We all had a feeling you were in danger, and I just ignored it and sat on the couch. If I had walked to get you, I could've stopped it. I could've done something." I went to open my mouth, but the door flew open and the Vic pushed Mike and Jaime in.
"SIT!" He screamed. I jumped and Tony tightened his grip on me.
"V-Vic..Don't scream please. I'm still.."
"Shit, I'm sorry babe." He said and gave me a sympathetic smile.
"You guys will not leave this bus. You've already done enough." He said through gritted teeth. He didn't scream, but he said it in such a tone that still scared me and showed just how serious he was.
"But-"
"No!"
"The fuck ever." Mike mumbled and turned to me. "Hey Addie, you okay?"
"Define okay.." I whispered and twiddled my thumbs.
"Sorry.. Stupid question. We love you okay?" I nodded and he kissed my cheek.
"Well, I say we get some sleep." He said and patted his legs before standing up. Everyone nodded and Vic stopped them.
"Where's the little one going to sleep?" He asked. I sighed and fell into Tony's chest.
"I'll sleep with her on the couch. Steph can enjoy her last night in the fucking bunks while I buy her plane ticket." My eyes widened in shock but I found myself smiling at the fact that she would be gone.
"Wow, you're serious about this? I'm proud of you bro, let's hope you don't back out and forgive her this time."
"Nope. After what she said to Addie? She took it too far."
"Agreed." They all said and leaned down, Vic kissing my forehead and Mike and Jaime kissing my cheeks making me giggle and scrunch up my face. They pulled away and laughed.
"Well, that was fucking adorable." Mike said and walked to the bunks, yelling a good night. Vic and Jaime followed him, turning out the light.
"Night, get some sleep, you two. Love ya Adds!"
"Love you too Vic!" I screamed and looked back at Tony. He smiled and brushed my bangs out of my face lightly.
"Thank you for being there for me Tony, you're really the only person that knows who I really am that's actually stuck with me for this long." I admitted.
"Well, I don't know who would want to leave someone like you behind. I mean you're strong, beautiful, amazing, the list goes on. You really don't deserve what's happened to you, and the fact that you've stuck through it and you're here today, amazes the shit out of me. I'll never leave you okay? I promise." I nodded and kissed his cheek. He smiled and laid me down. I faced towards him and curled into his chest. He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me against him. It was hard to get comfy on a narrow couch, but with a few pillows and our arms wrapped around each other, it happened to work perfectly and I fell back asleep within minutes.
"D-Don't scream.. p-please.." She whispered. We all nodded and I picked her up and carried her on the bus. "It happened again Tony! It happened again!" I screamed and started to cry.
"Shh, he's not going to hurt you, I'm here."
"H-How long was I asleep?"
"Not even 15 minutes.."
"Great. How am I supposed to sleep if this is all that's going to happen?! Oh God, Tony, I can't. I can't continue to relive it." He sighed and I looked up at him as he threw his head back a tear fell down his cheek. He wiped it and looked back at me.
"I-I'm sorry. I should've protected you.."

"Well, that was fucking adorable." Mike said and walked to the bunks, yelling a good night. Vic and Jaime followed him, turning out the light.
"Night, get some sleep, you two. Love ya Adds!"
"Love you too Vic!" I screamed and looked back at Tony. He smiled and brushed my bangs out of my face lightly.
"Thank you for being there for me Tony, you're really the only person that knows who I really am that's actually stuck with me for this long." I admitted.
"Well, I don't know who would want to leave someone like you behind. I mean you're strong, beautiful, amazing, the list goes on. You really don't deserve what's happened to you, and the fact that you've stuck through it and you're here today, amazes the shit out of me. I'll never leave you okay? I promise." I nodded and kissed his cheek. He smiled and laid me down. I faced towards him and curled into his chest. He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me against him. It was hard to get comfy on a narrow couch, but with a few pillows and our arms wrapped around each other, it happened to work perfectly and I fell back asleep within minutes.
