Make Me A Promise {Vic Fuentes Fanfiction}

Freedom

Vic's P.O.V.

The four of us sat across from the four ladies we called our other halves at lunch, the day of the bachelor party had arrived and we'd made it to San Diego that morning. "Alright Anna, dish out the rules." Mike said, he sounded ready for a horrible night. She looked to her left and right, surrounded by her brides maids. "Just please... don't get a girl pregnant." She said very seriously. Silence fell over the room, and I swear I could hear a needle drop. "She basically just gave us permission to do... whatever..." Jaime was talking to himself. "For one night and one night only... we don't exist... but that also means the same for us." Lizzie explained and stood up followed by the rest. Even Colbie looked excited about the night. "Just know," Harmony slammed her palm on the table making the four of us jump. "I have friends in high places who know others, who just happen to know your faces... so be careful what you wish for tonight boys. But have fun." She giggled in the end

The three men around me looked at me, I was as scared of Harmony as they were, but I already knew Mike was not about to let her ruin his night of freedom. "So we've got about an hour to kill. Who's up for some pre gaming with Gasgarth at his bus?" Mike jumped up smiling. We all agreed, I paid for the lunch and we took off for a long night ahead.
My brother had set up the party to be at Casey's place, a Penthouse apartment. We all arrived, the guest list was set by the door and a bouncer named Derek sat by daring someone not on the list to try and get in. I scanned the list one last time before handing it over to him.

Once confirmed, he read it and sat himself next to the door. A few minutes later Mike handed him a separate list, which I could only imagine withheld the names of the strippers he'd hired. Mike set up a bunch of shit all over the place, the kitchen was FULL of liquor, the living room had a multitude of black balloons and stereo set with a list of party music. The first to arrive for the night, All Time Low. "Jack Hammer is here! Now where's the bitches!" Jack screamed walking through the door. Alex couldn't help but laugh as he walked in behind his idiot friend. Rian and Zach shook their heads in defeat, those two were at least semi sane. "Sorry Jack the closest thing to a girl right now is Vic." Jaime laughed and grabbed my shoulder. I rolled my eyes and made my way to the kitchen for some alcohol to lighten my mood.

Mike tossed me a beer and we sat in the kitchen together, waiting for the rest of our guests to arrive. "Bro you're getting married tomorrow." He said when he took his seat next to me. "Yea, I am. Thank you captain obvious." I laughed and took a sip of my PBR. "Dude, I just can't believe this is happening, I mean I've never even thought about marrying anyone until I saw her singing on that stage in Texas." I swished what was left of my beer around in the can and smiled thinking about the day. The things that went through my head when I saw her, were so much different than I used to do with women.

It usually went something along the lines of "Damn she's hot, wonder who's taking her home tonight." Yet with Anna, the first thing that went through my mind was "She's beautiful..." And I was telling the truth, in every aspect she was amazing, when she sang the words I'd written, when she smiled at me, the way her hair fell when she turned around to walk away from me. How nervous she was when she asked if she could sing with me. All of the aspects of that first day were what made me think of how amazing she is. Ding Dong... The bell rang and I heard women's voices sound as they walked through the doors. Oh peachy.. the strippers are here... I heard a bunch of other guys voices, when I rounded the corner to the living room everyone on the guest list had arrived. "Smile ya idiot!" Mike wrapped his arm around my shoulder and pulled me into a side hug. He dragged me over to the girls and introduced everyone.

Anna's P.O.V.

"Come on Anna! Cheer up baby doll!" Jeffree said to me. The music was pumping and I could barely hear over the noise. The place was packed and the dance floor was ridiculously stuffed. I nodded at him and walked to the V.I.P. room for my party. There were a few celebs, nobody too famous, but there was a lot of idiot guys trying to get in my pants throughout the night. Nothing to crazy. But I missed Vic... A LOT, I walked out the back door and took a beer with me. I sat on the back steps just praying he'd call me. Anna he's probably not even thinking about you. It's his last day as a free man, then he's yours for the rest of your life... The rest of my life. Damn He'll be mine forever and I his. I'm too worried that he's fucking some girl right now to enjoy my last night as a free one myself. I could never cheat on him and all I can hope is that he won't do the same to me. I stood up and looked off into the distance and brought my hand up to rub my temple.

After about an hour of silence to calm my head I turned to walk back to the party, when my phone buzzed in my pocket. I stared at it for a long while before coming to my senses and answering it. "Vic? What are you calling me for?" I answered with a concern. The only reason he'd call is if something were wrong right? "Nothing's wrong, I just wanted to hear your voice." He sighed into the phone. "Vic..." I laughed "Shouldn't you be partying?" I asked cause I could hear the silence on his side. "I could ask you the same thing." He laughed. "Well let's just say, I'm being a worry wart... And not exactly enjoying myself." I laughed to myself in the phone. I expected him to laugh with me or tell me to not worry, that everything was fine. "Join the club." He mumbled back to me.

"What?"

"I'm really bored, the only people enjoying themselves here are my guests. Let's just say you're better looking and much more desirable than a bunch of women who fuck for a living." He was really making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. All of a sudden I heard a girl in the background. "Is that your fiancé?” She asked him. "Yea, I'll be back in a sec." He said to her. "How's about we do this. You take me and drop me off at that bar down the street and it'll be like you and I left together so you don't get hounded by your friends in there and you'll get to see her... It'll be our little secret." I think my heart skipped a beat. "Vic is she serious?" I asked kind of excited.

"Yea give me a sec and I'll be there to pick you up. Think you can sneak out?"

"Vic, I've been sitting on these steps for a good hour now. Besides the rest of my party people are drunk as fucks." I said thinking back to Lizzie and Harmony had started the night with shots of patron, and were by now fully wasted and incoherent. Colbie was mildly drunk, enough that a male stripper actually gave her a lap dance. Jeffree was in Jeffree land, and there was no telling where the hell that was. The girls from Cherri Bomb had joined us for the night along with Lights, and were probably the only ones in the club still stable. "I'll be ready and waiting for you." We said goodbye and hung up the phone. I ran inside for a sec to grab my bag and one last shot before I snuck back out. They'll never notice I'm even missing. I looked over at Lights, Wow.. Beau you better be glad you're not here right now. I laughed to myself and walked out the back door again.

"Where do you think you're heading?" Rena asked me. She made me jump out of my skin. "Uh, ya know just smoking a cigarette." I said trying to justify my actions at the moment.

"You don't smoke."

"I do... On occasions." I trembled.

"You're leaving aren't you? I've got you covered don't worry." She blew a cloud of smoke towards me and walked back into the building. I looked at her as she walked in the door. She winked back at me and closed it shut behind her. I waited a good ten minutes before Vic finally pulled up into the parking lot. A girl came out of the jeep and nodded at me before she entered the club. I hopped into the jeep and he took my hand. "That was my 'scape goat from the party..." He motioned at the girl who closed the club door behind her. I laughed. "So where we headed?" I asked. "Anywhere but here." With that we let the night take us to wherever it wanted.

The next morning we were the only two without a hangover. Within five minutes I was whisked away to be transformed into the bride my mother had always dreamed about. Lizzie was pacing the room and Harmony was trying her best to calm her down. "It's not even your wedding what is the big deal?" She laughed at her. "I have to get something off my chest!" She screamed and stopped mid pacing. We all turned to face her. "Anna..." She said with concern, "Vic left the party last night with someone..." She sobbed out loud. "Lizzie! I know." I said remembering the night before. "Tony made me promise not to tell but... WAIT WHAT?" She screamed. "I left last night too you just didn't see me, you were way to drunk." I concluded and the whole room stood in shock. "Me and Vic met up and ditched the parties." I smiled at them.

A look of relief fell across Lizzie's face, she hugged me and sighed into my shoulder. "Your mother really knows how to pick 'em. You two wouldn't be here without her pushing you and him to each other." She looked at the clock on the wall. "The guests should be arriving soon. Let's get you on your way." She smiled and I looked around at the girls surrounding me in my room.

Shelly, She'd taught me everything I know about life and living it to the fullest. My aunt, She'd taken me in when no one else had the courage to help. Harmony and Colbie, I'd only spent a few months with them and we'd already become such good friends. And last, My sister, my rock, the reason I'm still alive, Lizzie, the girl who we took in, the rags to riches story, I love her to death like she loves me. I wouldn't trade her for the world. And today, she's, walking me down the aisle.
