Everyone Pierce The Veil member and their close family showed up to the Fuentes’ home for a “welcome home” cook out. Papa Fuentes was really warm and inviting, welcoming everyone with a hug.

Jaime gladly hugged him. He had been with Pierce The Veil long enough to feel like family to Papa Fuentes. Well, everyone’s family felt like family. They really were a close-knit group.

Jaime spotted Tony talking to his mother. He walked over to them and kissed his mother’s cheek. “Hey mom,” Jaime greeted.

“Himes,” his mother looked at him. “Tony here was just telling me about how you stole his shirt this morning. I thought you grew out of such childish behavior!”

“I’m a man-child!” Jaime declared.

Tony and Jaime’s mom laughed. Then Tony said, “Don’t forget that you’re an ass too.”

“So are you,” Jaime laughed.

“But not as much of one as you,” Tony retorted.

“That’s because Jaime is the best,” Jaime said waving him off.

Tony just laughed. He wasn’t about to disagree with that statement. Especially when Jaime was laughing and smiling as he was. He did have the best laugh…

Jaime noticed Tony watching him again. Jaime was pretty sure that look Tony had on was the one he wore whenever he was thinking about Jaime. He always wore it whenever Jaime walked around shirtless and teased him some other way. He didn’t know why, but he was addicted to the hot feeling he got whenever Tony looked at him like this.

“Hey Papa Fuentes!” Jaime called out. “Is it cool if I jump in the pool?”

“Sure,” Papa Fuentes said.

Jaime smirked to himself and pulled his shirt off, handing it to his mom who shook her head at him. He felt Tony’s eyes on him as he kicked off his shoes and tucked his socks in them. He smiled and thought to himself, I am terrible.

He did feel like an ass for teasing Tony like this, but Jaime couldn’t stop. It sort of felt like he was pulling a prank that only he knew about. Of course, he knew it’d turn out to be a terrible prank that he’ll more than likely regret. But that wasn’t stopping Jaime.

Jaime walked to the edge of the in-ground pool and jumped off the deep end. The water was warm but still significantly cooler than the San Diego heat. It felt great.

Jaime looked at Tony who was looking right back. “Hey Tony, join me!”

“I’d rather not,” Tony said.

“What? Come on,” Jaime complained. “I thought turtles liked water!”

“ I don’t feel like swimming,” Tony lied.

Jaime spotted Mike and Vic smirking at each other as they started to quietly sneak up on Tony. “Well fine, if you want to be that way!” Jaime called out just as the brothers grabbed a hold of Tony.

“Stop!” Tony screeched as he struggled from Mike’s hold.

“Get his phone!” Mike yelled and Vic swiftly took the things out of Tony’s pockets. Then the little Mexican grabbed a hold of Tony’s feet, lifting him off of the ground completely.

“Stop this!” Tony yelled, kicking at them. His efforts were futile. Within a few seconds, he was thrown into the pool, splashing water against Jaime’s face.

“Wooo!” Jaime cheered as Tony’s head came up from the water and into the air.

“You guys are asses!” Tony yelled at his band mates.

Mike and Vic laughed as Jaime jumped onto Tony’s back. “Yay! I got my turtle.”

As pissed as he was Tony had to smile. Jaime can have me anytime he wants, Tony thought just as two big splashes came into the water.

Mike and Vic came up from under the water yelling, “Pierce The Veil is in the pool!”

“Wooo!” Jaime cheered.

“You guys,” Jaime’s mom smiled at them and laughed. She pulled out her phone and said, “Say cheese.”

“Cheese!” they yelled and smiled for the camera.
