I ran as fast as my legs would allow. Trying to escape from the monster of a human behind me. "Come here you little shit!" She yelled at me tackling me to the ground and slapping me across the face repeatedly.
"Mommy stop! You're hurting me, stop!" I screamed as the pain started to take its course throughout my body. Soon tasting blood in my mouth I let it dribble down the side of my face.
"Why did I ever have kids! I hate you! You worthless piece of shit! Why can't you be the way I pictured you in my head!?" She yelled, spitting on my face before pushing me down the stairs. I screamed out for help but nobody came. She left me here to die. I screamed and screamed until I finally couldn't scream anymore. Still nobody came to help me, I was going to die here alone.
"Michelle! Holy shit wake up!" Mike screamed shaking my body until my eyes snapped open. He held me tight against his chest until my shaking subsided.
"Mikey, I'm so scared," I said finally breaking the silence.
"There's nothing to be afraid of Michelle, I won't let anything get you and neither will the guys. Okay? I'm not letting you out of my sight," he planted a firm kiss on my temple and I clung to his body. "What did you have a nightmare about?"
My whole body tensed up as I spoke in detail about my nightmare to Mike, once I finished I looked up at him, seeing a tear escape, I quickly reached up and wiped it away.
"Shit Michelle, I always knew you had a bad childhood, I just didn't know it was that bad. I'm so sorry you had to go through something like that. But just know that now, you're safe with us. We wont let anything hurt you, okay?"
I nodded my head and kissed him on the cheek before exiting the bunk. I haven't had those nightmares since I was nineteen and now that they're coming back, I don't know how I'm going to deal with it.
"What was all that screaming about?" Vic asked, scaring the living shit out of me. I didn't notice him in the lounge when I walked in.
I hesitated before I answered, "I-I had a nightmare."
"About?" He asked eyeing me carefully.
"My childhood, it's fine though. Mike calmed me down."
"I see," Vic said smirking at me, "so you and Mike huh?"
I blushed at the thought of Mike, I turned around so he didn't see it but it was too late.
"Oh! Michelle you're blushing! Holy shit! MI-" I quickly slapped my hand over his mouth, stopping him from calling out Mike's name.
"You say a word about this and I'll cut your dick off and make you eat for dinner, okay?" I asked sternly.
He nodded his head quickly and rapidly, causing me to laugh a little.
"Whos eating dick for dinner?" Mike asked walking into the lounge and sitting next to me.
"Nobody," I piped up quickly.
Mike raised his eyebrows up at me before turning his attention towards his brother, "so what time do we play at tomorrow?"
"I believe at six thirty."
"Alright. Michelle I want you to stand behind my drums with Casey, so we can both keep an eye on you. I have to apologize in advance if any drumsticks hit you in your pretty little head of yours," he stated simply smiling at me.
I just nodded my head and agreed to the plans.
The rest of the day went by pretty smoothly. We stayed on the bus for awhile until we headed out for dinner at a nearby restaurant.
Going to this restaurant was now simply the worst mistake I made. We sat at the table until a familiar face made its way towards me, making me shriek as painful memorys came flooding back into my head.
