"Mom if you don't get this troll away from me I'm going to kick it in the goddam head!" I heard Luna screaming from upstairs.

"Lulu what are you yelling about!" I screamed, getting rather annoyed by her. She's been in a pissy mood since she woke up for school this morning.

"Come! Come look at what she's doing!" She yelled again.

"What is going on up here? I'm trying to help your father cook." I said when I reached the top of the stairs.

"Kia keeps recording me with that stupid camera uncle Adam got for her!"

"I'm shooting the Fuentes Family documentary!" the twelve year old protested.

"Luna just let her do it." I sighed and leaned against the doorframe.

"Yeah Luna."

"Shut up troll."

"Keep making that face, tmz is gonna love that."

"Anakia! Luna! Cut the shut before I get your father involved!"

"You're totally siding with her!" Luna exclaimed.

"She just yelled at both of us you airhead." Anakia rolled her eyes, crosse her arms over her chest and dropped her hip.

"Mom!"

"Camera." I stated holding one hand out to Anakia. Luna gave a noise of triumph. "You too. Give me the phone."

She placed it in my hand and slammed the door shut after Anakia and I left. Anakia went to her room and I headed back downstairs. Mike was standing in front of the stove finishing up what he had made for dinner.

"Hello hello hellloooooo!" Leo's voice rang through the house as the front door creaked open.

"UNCLE MIKEY! AUNT V!" came the voice of my favorite thirteen year old in the world.

"Suzieeeee!" I yelled back to her as she slammed her body into my own in the form of a hug.

"Girls! Dinner!" Mike yelled after kissing his niece on the top if her head.

"I'm not hungry!" Luna yelled back down.

"She's mad cause I took her phone away." I laughed to Leo and Vic who stared at me with confused faces.

"Remind me to keep Suzie from turning sixteen." Vic said with wide eyes. I couldn't see him ever grounding Suzie.

"Everyone make room for my masterpiece!" Mike said placing the sizzling pan on the tablestone. I rolled my eyes at my ridiculous husband and joined him at the table.

My feet carried me through the house, shutting off all the lights before I made my way upstairs and into my bedroom.

"Are the girls in bed already?" I asked Mike, who answered me with a simple nod.

My clothes were soon replaced with an old t shirt of Mikes and I climbed into the bed after flicking off the light.

"Its supposed to storm tonight." Mike said after a few minutes.

"Do you think they'll be okay?" I asked biting my lip.

"Maybe. But just in case they aren't let's get some sleep before they wake us up." he laughed. I nodded and cuddled up to his side, drifting off to sleep quickly.

A loud crack of thunder tore through the house, waking me up from a dead sleep a few hours later. As if on cue, the bedroom door creaked over and I heard two sets of feet shuffling into the room. A chill went up my spine when the blanket was lifted up for the girls to jump between Mike and I.

"Luna your sixteen years old-" Mike began.

"Daddy please don't make me go back in there." the small girl begged.

"Fine." he sighed and held her close to him.

"Mommy?" Anakia said softly while laying in my arms like Luna in Mike's.

"Yes baby?" my voice sounded sleepy in my own ears.

"I love you."

"Me too." Luna chimed in.

"I love you both too." I smiled with my eyes closed.

I felt Mikes hand cover my own then his fingers wove between each of mine.

"I love you bub." he said.

"I love you too Mikey. Forever and always."

So I guess in the end, if everything's meant to work out, then it will. If you asked me twenty years ago if this is how I thought my life would turn out, I'd say hell no. But somehow fate led me straight to Mike. I moved to San Diego for a reason. I went out to have a cigarette in that big tree in my front yard that morning for a reason. If i never met Mike, I don't know where I would be today.

Life can throw you some curve balls but don't ever stop you from doing what you want. If I never went to Warped Tour 2012 I never would have seen Mike again. I'd probably still be in New Jersey, sharing that apartment with Travis.

I guess what I'm trying to say is when you find someone you love, never let them go. Think about them every day. Every second. Love them with every ounce of your being. I fell in love with Mike the second I met him. We probably had the worst relationship you could ever see, but I don't love him any less then I did when I was seventeen years old.
