I Met The Love Of My Life.
You Just Don't Realize How Much I Love You.
I’m finally finished working. I couldn’t be happier, it’s just been so busy recently and I’m dying to just get home and see Tony. We’re having a date night tonight and since it’s my day off tomorrow I got to leave at 3PM. I slumped myself into my car, driving off to Starbucks for a well needed and well deserved coffee. I eventually got to Starbucks and as I stood in the line of people waiting for their drinks to be made, I was totally lost in my phone. I was texting Tony and flicking through Twitter and Instagram. I seen a photo that Tony put up, it was of him looking handsome in a black shirt and jeans for tonight. The caption was ‘looking forward to a well needed date night with my lady tonight. @aliceisn0tinwonderland’. I smiled to myself, leaving a simple ‘me too baby xx’ comment on it. We’d gone official to the fans about a week ago. It’s been about 3 or 4 weeks since he broke up with Stephanie, but the fans knew who I was from when Tony and I started dating in the very beginning, and most of them were pretty stoked to find out that we’re back together. I smiled to myself, flicking through the comments and then just through Tony’s pictures. I made a mental note to take some cute ones with him tonight, we barely had any.
“Oh my god, aren’t you Tony Perry’s girlfriend?” a deep voiced male pulled me out of my thoughts. I followed where the voice came from to be met with Telle Smith and Luke Holland from The Word Alive.
“Hey!” I said smiling, giving them both a hug. It's kind of awkward though, I haven't seen Telle since that party when I was wasted and kissed him and I know Telle has always been interested in me, like that.
“How are you, pretty lady?” Telle winked, trying to put his arm round my waist.
“Now now, enough of that, I’m a taken lady.” I said with a smug smile on my face. “But I’m good, how are you guys?” I put my phone back into my bag.
“Yeah, good. It’s really nice to see you.” Telle said, attempting to hug me close to his waist. I pushed him off as my name was called, I grabbed my frappucino and waved bye to the guys.
That was incredibly awkward, if I’m honest.
I was stuck in traffic as always when I was on my way home, so I was sipping on my frapuccino and listening to the Collide with the Sky album. I sang along to every word perfectly, and I must admit, I’m in love with this album. It’s definitely their best yet. It also made me think about when they’ll be going on their next tour. I made a mental note to bring that up with Tony too… It might cause some hiccups, considering the last time we were together.
I finally got home to Tony already sitting on my couch with Cassie and Jaime. He walked up to me, cuddling me close and I smiled into the crook of his neck. He placed a small kiss on the top of my head before handing me a big teddy bear that was holding a heart which said ‘I Love You!’ on it. I smiled, hugging the bear close to me.
“Hi handsome. Thank you for the bear.” I kissed his lips quickly, admiring my new cuddle buddy. “You do know, this is your substitute now for when you’re away.”
“I’d hope so!” he chuckled, “I’ve missed you beautiful.”
We walked into my room together, hand in hand. “I’ve missed you too baby. I only need to change and touch up my makeup, and then I’m good to go! Okay handsome?”
Tony nodded and sat himself on my bed. I slipped on an outfit and fixed my lipstick. That was all that really needed done. I’d already made sure my hair was going to be okay for tonight before I left this morning. I smiled to see Tony watching me get ready. He always said it fascinated him.
“Do I look okay?” I grinned at him.
“You look perfect. As always, baby.” He smiled, taking his hand in mine and kissing my cheek, knowing I’d kill him for ruining my lipstick if he kissed my lips.
“As do you.” I grabbed my bag and put my phone and purse in it before sliding on another pair of heels. “Okay, let’s go.”
We sat down in the restaurant and as I scanned my eyes over the menu I literally couldn’t decide what I wanted. I hadn’t eaten yet and I was bloody starving. Everything looked or sounded so good. I wanted it all. But I’ve always been like that with food.
“I think I’m going to start with chicken wings.” I said to the waitress as she came over with her drinks.
“Good choice.” She said, noting it down before turning to Tony. “And you?”
“Could I have the uhm…” he paused, “Sorry everything just looks good. I’ll have the same.”
“I think I’ll have spaghetti meatballs for my main.” I smiled to the waitress, handing her my menu.
“I’ll have the same. Again.” Tony chuckled.
The waitress smiled and walked away whilst Tony took my hands in his and I smiled, I’ve missed just being with him so much. He didn’t have a hat on tonight and his natural hair just looked so cute.
“You’re a little copycat.” I giggled, to finally break the comfortable silence we were in.
“I know right?" he chuckled, "Aw Alice, I love you so much.” Tony said, kissing both my hands repeatedly.
“I love you too baby.” I smiled. “Oh! I wanna take a few cute pictures of us tonight.”
“Deal baby.”
Our food arrived and we ate in silence, both of us enjoying the food way too much to speak. I was currently sipping on a cappuccino whilst Tony had some chocolate cake and once he was finished, I helped him wipe his mouth where there were still some traces of chocolate.
“You’re a messy pup.” I said, before taking another sip of my cappuccino, looking around the now almost full restaurant. “I’m glad we got here when we did, it’s jam packed now.”That was when I noticed Tony looking pretty nervous. He just sort of nodded along to what I had said.
“Tony, are you alright?” I said, placing my hand over his now blushing cheek. He leaned into my touch and nodded again.
“Baby I gotta go on tour soon. It’s in two weeks. We’ll be away for just under two months. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you til now, I didn’t know how to… but I’m telling you now.” he finally spoke out.
“Tone, don’t be worried to tell me these things. It’s your job. I’m fine with it. We’ll speak every day and everything will be dandy.” I smiled, squeezing his hand a little.
“And Alice?”
“Mmm?” I said through a sip of my cappuccino.
“I was wondering if you, uhm, maybe wanted to look for a house together when I’m back?” he said, looking to the floor.
I grinned really big. “Of course!” I ran to his side of the booth. “I’m so excited! Of course we can look for a house together. I can’t wait!” I squealed, hugging him and kissing his lips. This is going to be amazing. Everything feels different this time between us.
