*** Tony’s Pov ***
I sat in my bed, trying to get my head around the fact that I could possibly be a father. I’m not gonna lie, I don’t want the baby to be Telle’s. I love Alice, more than anything, and the fact she slipped up doesn’t really bother me, but I just desperately don’t want the baby to be his. I sighed, going to walk downstairs and call Alice.
It rang four times before she answers. “Hello?”
“Hey babe.”
“Are you okay?” she asked.
“Yeah babe. I’m fine. I just needed a while to clear my head.” I said and I heard her sigh.
“I didn’t want things to be this way, you know.” She said and I felt sort of bad.
“I know you didn’t baby.” I sighed too.
“I need to tell Telle by the way, and I just want to sit the two of you down, okay? It’s nothing to worry about but yeah, just come over.” She said.
“Okay Ally, I’ll be over in half an hour.” I said, we said our goodbyes and I hopped in the shower, getting ready to go. I don’t know how I’m going to react when I see Telle.
*** Alice’s Pov ***
Since Tony had arranged to take me out to lunch after we have the talk with Telle, I decided to just get fully ready now. I applied my red lipstick and put my cardigan on and sat down on the couch. I put the TV on, half paying attention to it. It’d be an understatement if I said I was nervous right now. The door rang and I got up slowly, as whenever I quickly get up I get sick. Perks of being pregnant, I suppose.
I opened the door and Tony stood there.“I’m sorry for being an ass yesterday baby.” He said, pulling red roses from behind his back, my favourite.
“Thank you baby, these are gorgeous.” I smiled, kissing him on the lips. I giggled and he gave me a confused face, “You have lipstick on.” I winked and he groaned, wiping it away with his hand.
Soon Telle, Tony and I were all sitting on the couch. One of the boys at either side of me. Awkward is not the word for the atmosphere in the room, it was way more than that. I sat looking at my lap and I could actually feel Tony glaring at Telle from beside me. I sighed, standing up, leaving the pair of them sitting next to each other, and hoping that they wouldn’t kill each other.
“So, Telle… Uh, I’m pregnant.” I said.
His face was a mixture between shock and confusion. And something else, possibly happiness? “Oh, uh, congrats?” he said it more like a question, and I looked down, feeling the tears coming to my eyes. I blinked them away quickly before turning to look at him.
“It might be your baby, Telle.” I spoke quietly enough for me to hear him.
“Oh…” he said. “Well if it is, I’ll step up to the mark, you know that. I’ll be here for you whenever. But for now, I’ll back off and let you and Tony be together.”
“Thanks Telle. That means a lot to us.” Tony said, giving him a weak smile.
He hugged me and congratulated me, told me he’d be there for me once again before apologising to Tony and heading off. I sat down in front of Tony on the floor, twiddling my thumbs.
“What’s wrong, Alice?” he asked.
“I don’t know.” I mumbled. He came off of the couch and sat on the floor behind me, pulling me into his lap and cuddling me, he kissed my hair and my face over and over. “I so want this baby to be yours Tony. All I’ve ever wanted is you, and now I’ve fucked everything up.” I cried, my head in my hands and sobbing uncontrollably. I just felt like such a, such a… whore. That’s all the voice in my head kept repeating to me anyway.
“I want this baby to be mine too, honey. But see even if it’s not, I’ll still raise it like it’s mine, I don’t care what Telle says, it’s still your baby, which automatically makes it mine.” he sighed, “That didn’t make any sense.”
I giggled, turning to face him. “It did to me.” I smiled, kissing his lips.
“Let’s go to lunch my babies.” He said, rubbing my still flat tummy and letting me stand up. He stood up after me, capturing me in his arms and off we went to have a very peaceful day together.
