Chapter 4: Daniella's POV
Mike nodded and smirked lightly “Never have I ever cried while watching Toy Story?” Jaime, Ariana, and I all put our fingers down, then down the shot as they others laughed.
“Awe, Jaime. That’s cute.” Ariana cooed. I looked over at Jaime and saw him looking down at his lap. I only smiled.
“Never have I ever smoked weed?” Ariana asked. All of us but Vic had put our finger down on that one and the liquid down our throats, burning as it went.
“Never have I ever written graffiti?” Jaime asked this made Mike and Ariana put a finger down. I laughed and I remember her telling me that story.
“Never have I ever kissed in the rain?” I asked as I watch everybody but Tony put their finger down. I looked over at Jaime, who was smiling at me.
“Never have I ever taken a shower with someone else?” Tony said everybody put their fingers down but Ariana. I couldn’t lie about that and Ariana didn’t know that story.
“What the fuck, Daniella? Explain that shit to me?” She asked shocked. I shook my head and laughed. Everybody was staring at me.
“Fine, okay, Ariana, do you remember that one party we went to on 5th & Broadway? You remember that guy I was hanging out. Well we both got drunk and thought it would be a cool idea to shower together because it would end world hunger and thirst, but when I woke up the next morning I realize it was dumbest but a very funny thing I’ve ever done drunk.” I said. The others laughed while Ariana just looked at me shocked. Mike was the first one out then it was Vic. Now it was just down to Tony, Ariana, Jaime and me.
“Never have I ever been suspended from school?” Ariana asked. Tony let his finger drop then took a drink. I thought back.
“Ariana, you got suspended that one time because of Abby.” I said.
“That cause for two shots.” Mike said. Ariana shrugged then took two shots.
“Never have I ever lied about my birthday just to get a free dessert?” Jaime said. Ariana, Tony, and I all put our finger down. Ariana and Tony only had one finger left. Jaime and I had two.
“Never have I ever done body shots?” Ariana asked. Jaime and I both put our finger down and we were all tied up.
“Never have I ever got stuck in an elevator?” I said as Tony and Ariana both put their fingers down and it was just Jaime and I.
“Never have I ever gotten me braces locked together kissing someone?” Jaime said. I kept my fingers up. I never had braces.
“Never have I ever been to Disneyland?” I said as I watched Jaime finger goes down and the liquid goes back. I had won the game.
“I win. I win.” I slurred not realizing how drunk I really was until I stood up and moved around. Ariana stood up, laughing. Jaime stood up, grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the kitchen.
“Where are we going? I was getting ready to go back to my place.” I asked.
“You are far to wasted to drive or ride in a vehicle with another drunk person. You both can stay here so this mean you can come with me.” Jaime said. I let him pull me outside into the backyard.
“Why are we out here?” I asked.
“Want to go swimming?” Jaime asked.
“No, not really. I’m drunk, Jaime.” I said sitting down on the lounging chair. He sat down next to me and we just sat in silent. It was nice not having to talk but I knew that would soon get boring and I didn’t want to bore Jaime.
“So how old are you?” He asked. I shrugged.
“What does age have to with any of this?” I asked.
“I don’t know. I don’t want to get arrested for doing this.” Jaime said before resting his hand on the side of my face then moved down my jawline and made me look at him before lightly pressing his lips against mine. He pulled away and I looked away.
“Maybe, you should get to know the girl a little more than a chessy pick-up line you pulled yesterday, Jaime.” I said. He smiled, showing off his dimples that would make me fall to the ground.
“You’re cute.” He said. I only shrugged before things went quiet again. Jaime sat back into the lounging chair and he pulled me so I was laying in between his legs and he was humming to me as my eyes closed.
