Did You Call Me Last Night Just Cus' You Couldn't Get Laid?
Chapter Eleven
The week past pretty quickly; me and Louis watched some films, I met up with some old high school friends and went shopping but mostly I just slept. It was nice to just stop and relax for a little while. The situation with Mike stayed pretty much the same, we were looking forward to seeing each other on Warped and had pretty much avoided talking about the argument over the fireworks in Vegas.
Eventually Saturday came around, which meant it was time for me and Louis to throw one hell of a leaving party, just as we did before every tour. We needed to get rid of all our food and alcohol anyway, but really that was just an excuse.
We had invited all of the Of Mice and Men boys down and a few high school friends. All in all there was only going to be about 12 of us, but that didn’t mean it wasn’t going to be fun as hell.
I decided to curl my hair, which had started to fade to a gingery colour, but I still loved it. I drew eyeliner flicks on my eyes before changing into a cute outfit and a pair of vans.
At about 7pm on Saturday night everyone started to filter in, Alan and Austin arrived together followed a few minutes later by Tino, Phil and Aaron. Not long after them, my two best friends from high school arrived, Jasey and Hannah, the only female friends I’d ever really had other than a few merch girls on tour. The last to arrive were three of Louis’ friend’s who I also knew but not too well, Kate, James and Sonny.
At first everyone went their separate ways, and I watched everyone consume their alcohol and slowly slip into intoxication. I’d had a few drinks myself and was starting to feel tipsy. I could smell weed coming from the balcony, and presumed that Tino had gone out for a smoke.
“EVERYONE IN THE LOUNGE, WE’RE GONNA PLAY A GAME!” I heard Louis yelling, hell that boy yelled a lot.
When everyone had finally gathered in the lounge area, some people sitting on the sofa and others on the floor, Louis announced what we were going to be playing.
“TRUTH OR DARE!” he said with a massive grin on his face.
“What the fuck Louis, we’re not 14 years old!” Austin exclaimed, throwing a cushion at Louis’ face.
“Yeah Louis you dickhead,” Phil agreed, doing the same.
“Come on guys it’ll be fun!” Louis responded, chucking the cushion back still grinning. Most of the others nodded, agreeing that’d be fun, mostly because they were just as drunk as Louis.
“It’s settled then, we’re playing truth or dare!” Louis smiled, “Everyone sit in a circle, I’ll spin the bottle and whoever it lands on gets to pick truth or dare.” He chugged the last bit of his beer before placing the bottle in the middle of the circle.
Several people had a go, most of them picking dare. Tino ended up kissing Jasey and Hannah had to run around the flat in her underwear. The few who picked truth had got pretty feeble ones, how many people have you slept with, tell us about your first kiss etc. All of which were questions that I was perfectly okay with answering.
When the bottle came to a stop on me I shouted out “Truth!” confidently.
“All right little miss cocky, I have a question for you,” Tino started, “Do you, or do you not, have feelings for Michael Christopher Fuentes?”
Shit.
If I said no, Tino would tell Mike. If I said Yes, Tino would tell Mike. Either way Tino would tell Mike, they were good friends.
“I guess I do,” I mumbled, earning gasps from the few people who didn’t know about me and Mike.
“I KNEW IT, I’M SO GONNA TEXT HIM ABOUT THIS!” Tino shouted, running off with his phone in hand.
Fuck.
