All Again For You

Under The Light Of The Full Moon

"I'm so happy you're home!" I exclaimed as I jumped on Mike once he had woken up from his much needed nap. I laid on top of him, my head on his chest.

He chuckled, his bearded chin moving in the process. "I'm happy I'm home too, princess." He ran his hand through my hair then let it fall to my back, softly rubbing it. "What'd you and my son do without me?" As soon as he said 'my son," Ludo got excited and jumped on Mike, pushing me out of the way.

I sat up, watching Ludo attack Mike in kisses, sending Mike into a fit of laughter. "He slept, ate, shit, and I worked and went house hunting." I studied Mike and how he was with Ludo, how we always was with Ludo. He really did consider him his son. I remember a few years back, when one of my older cousins had gotten a pet with her boyfriend, my grandma made a big deal about it. She said that to us women, getting a pet or whatever with our boyfriends was a big step. It was a test to see not only if they could handle responsibilities, but if they'd be able to handle a pet, especially if it's a puppy or a kitten. "Mija, it's about seeing if they are good at taking care of something other than themselves." I recall the mortified look on my cousin's face. She said all she and her boyfriend wanted was a damn pet and my grandma had to complicate things. Then, my grandma got mad at her and told her that she's right. That was my grandma, always trying to be right.

I smiled to myself as I thought back. It was so funny to think about those things, not realizing that they could happen to you in the near future. "Speaking of house hunting," I mentioned, earning Mike's attention. "Miguel told me that he has this house for us to see in a couple of days, but he was saving it for when you got home so we both could see it together. He didn't want Brandon coming with me to see it, or my grandma, or your mom; he said we have to see it." I smiled big, only imagining what Miguel had in store for us.

"That is exciting because the houses that he's already shown you are amazing." His eyes lit up and I nodded in agreement.

"I told him to keep it in our budget and if he goes over I'm socking him in the dick."

He looked over to me and laughed, "You told him that?"

"No," I grinned sweetly. "But, I told his assistant Jean, to tell him that."

"You're a dork, Lucy." He paused for a moment, cuddling with Ludo, whom was now falling fast asleep. "I missed being in my bed, and hugging Ludo, and seeing you, and just being home."

I chewed on my bottom lip, "I missed you. I'm glad you're home for a little while, a month at least. Then you have to go on a tour with Satan."

"Don't say that." He smirked slightly at me. "The tour with Of Mice and Men will be fine, I promise. He's a chill guy and I have a feeling that things will be okay."

I raised an eyebrow at him. I wish I had the same optimistic feelings about how that tour will go, because I didn't. I know Austin, so well that I know he isn't one to let things go so easily. The last time I saw him, he came apologizing, but the fact that I didn't let him back into my life "because of Mike" is something that he still bitches about. "I just don't want a drama-filled tour. Not for you. He should've never brought you into this because you didn't do anything."

"You didn't either. That's why I think it's fucking stupid because you didn't do anything to him. Neither did I. But, if he's still sensitive about it, then fine. Let's hope he keeps that to himself."

"Yeah, let's hope." I frowned.

Mike placed his hand on my leg, "Don't let him rain on our parade, baby. We have so much shit to look forward too in this month. What if we actually found the perfect house and moved in before I left for tour? How sick would that be?"

"So sick, buggie." My nose scrunched up and he let go of Ludo and brought me into his arms, hugging me tightly."I love you."

"And, I love you Luce." He kissed the top of my head and Ludo laid on Mike's stomach. And we laid there in bed in perfect bliss, happy to be with one another again.

Mike and I drove, using the GPS to guide our way to the house that Miguel was dying to show us. It wasn't that far from my place now, maybe just a little passed where Brandon lives, but still fairly close. There was a Coffee Bean and a Starbucks nearby and I made a mental note of where they were, in case that this house was the house. I could see the Hollywood sign from a distance and what that sign meant to so many people, in and out of this city. That sign was their reason, the sole purpose of them coming here was so they could make it.

"Is this it?" Mike asked as we pulled up to this giant fucking house built of a beautiful off-white color. Mike looked over to me with his eyes widened, shocked. We saw Miguel step out of the house, grinning huge. He knew that we would love this house, he'd been saying it since our first meeting.

We got out of the car and walked over to Miguel together. "You must be Mike, it's nice to finally meet you, man." He said, shaking Mike's hand.

"It's nice to meet you, too. I heard that this house was only for our eyes to see." He grinned.

"It is. As you can tell, we are in the Hollywood Hills. It's very spacious just from when you drive up, but private at the same time." He kept talking about how new the house was, and how the neighborhood was definitely kid friendly. He also stated that the neighbors keep to themselves, so they wouldn't be a bother. I studied the outside of the house and how beautiful the rose bushes were as they made a pathway to the dark wooden door with a gorgeous clear-stained glass window.

We walked in and the high ceilings that I had wanted so badly were there. There was a giant chandelier hanging from the highest ceiling, showing off it's beautiful crystals. On the right was an almost untouched dining area, exposing dark wooden floors, but a perfectly centered cream rug sat underneath where the long table and six chairs were placed carefully. From the dining room lead us to the giant kitchen with the most beautiful marble countertops were. My eyes it up and Mike saw my reaction and he laughed, causing Miguel to smile and nod in satisfaction.

The stainless steel appliances matched perfectly with the wall color, the flooring beneath our feet, and most importantly, the fucking marble countertops. In the kitchen was a smaller table and set of chairs as Miguel called it, "The Breakfast Table." It looked so cute and less intimidating than the dining room set. There was an open floor plan and I didn't mind that at all, that's what we had wanted anyway. From the kitchen was the living room, filled with a comfy couch set and gorgeous carpet underneath it all. "Are you ready to go upstairs? Lucy, you're gonna die when we get up there." He said as us three made our way up the stairs, admiring the staircase as we walked up it.

There was a long hallway, kind of empty but Miguel said that Mike and I could hang our plaques here. When he said that, Mike took my hand and squeezed it, both of us feeling incredible about this house so far. He showed us the master bedroom, and boy, was it master. I'd never seen a room so big in my life, and most importantly, it had a giant closet. "All of our clothes would definitely fit in here." Mike nodded, scoping it out. There was a giant window, bringing in the perfect amount of sunlight, naturally lighting the room. I was in awe, to be completely honest. We walked into the restroom in the master bedroom and it was incredible. The tile was black and white checkered, each tile having some sort of sparkle to it. It was very chic to say the least. There was a two-person shower and a separate tub nearby it.

"That's a two-person tub, too. You know, in case you're both feeling romantic." Miguel joked, causing Mike and I to laugh. It wasn't uncomfortable around him, and I was glad because even though I had grown to know Miguel, Mike hadn't yet. After the restroom tour, he showed us two other bedroom, both a good size with large windows just like the master bedroom. "Okay, so this room was used as an art room from the previous owners, but I was thinking that this could be the office space. I know that you both had wanted a separate space, one so Lucy could do her work from home, and another so Mike could just drum whenever. Well, here's Lucy's space." He opened the dark-colored wooden door and in there a giant space, perfect to fit a desk and my other essentials and other things if needed. I noticed it when I walked in, but I kept my mouth shut until I walked closer to the giant window and door space, revealing a balcony.

"Is that a balcony?" My heart stopped. Like I've said before, ever since my first apartment back in San Diego, I'd always been a sucker for balconies. I was always so bummed that my house now didn't have one. I walked straight to it and opened the back door, and you had the most beautiful and perfect view of Los Angeles; the Hollywood sign and everything. I could have died and gone to heaven right then and there. "Oh my god, this is perfect." I grinned and looked up at Mike, and he was smiling just as big as I was. This was paradise, indeed.

On the way to Mike's space, we passed two restrooms and more windows, and then we arrived at the door. "Alright, so Mike, once I found out about this room, I couldn't think of anything more perfect." He opened the door and there was a big space, empty, but it also had natural sunlight peeking in from outside from the window. "Get this, the room is soundproof."

My mouth dropped and Mike laughed nodding as he scoped out the place. "This is so amazing. Not only would my actual drum set fit in here, but my other toy I got last year, and some studio things would fit in here!" His eyes lit up when he spoke about his instrument, and I could see how excited he was about this house.

We toured the rest of it, the backyard and other things. By the time we were back in the kitchen, Miguel looked at us. "So, what do you guys think?"

"Do you think you could give us a minute?" I asked politely. Miguel nodded happily as he stepped outside for a moment. I looked up at Mike, "What do you think?"

His smile was infectious as he looked at me, "I think it's perfect, Lucy. Like, insanely perfect."

"I do too. It has everything we were looking for, and more."

"What's the price on this bad boy?" He asked me, placing his hand on the gorgeous countertops.

I shrugged, "We'll ask him in a minute."

"I have a feeling that this is the house. It doesn't get better than this." He smiled, and I did the same, having the same notion that this was in face the one. Miguel came back in a moment later and Mike asked him, "What's the price on this house?"

"You won't believe me when I say this, but it's actually on point with your budget."

"No fucking way?" I said, not realizing that I just let a curse word slip in front of a stranger.

He nodded, "I swear on my soul. So, do you two love this or what?"

"We think it's amazing, Miguel." I gushed over mine and Mike's potential future house.

Mike looked around the kitchen then back over to us, "I think this is it. I think this is our new home."

"Really?" I looked up happily at my man.

He nodded, "Yup. This is it. We'll take it." He told Miguel firmly, and Miguel grinned widely.

"I'm so happy that you guys settled on a house! Congratulations, guys." He seemed genuinely happy that Mike and I were taking such a huge step. "I'll call my agency and we'll come up with papers for you guys to sign in the next day or two. Does that sound okay?"

Mike and I nodded in unison, "Sounds great." I said, a smile unable to leave my face."

Miguel grabbed his phone and shook our hands, telling us he will call us tomorrow, and quickly dialing his agency's number. "Guys, grab me some keys and papers, we just found the perfect home for my clients!" He stepped outside and Mike and I were about to leave the house as well, but we watched Miguel go in his car and grab a red, magnetic "SOLD" sign and he stuck it to the realty sign planted in the grass on the front lawn.

We shut the door behind us, walking to Mike's car and gazing at it, "Holy fuck, baby. This is our new home. This is all ours. I can't even believe it." He said, wrapping his arm around me and bringing me into a hug.

"I love it. It's so us and so perfect for us." I muttered, hugging him as tight as I could. This was it. This was mine and Mike's new chapter in our book. I was ready, though, for whatever life wanted to throw at us. We could handle it, I mean, c'mon, it's us we're talking about. I'd never been so excited for change before in my life.

It had taken us about ten minutes to drive home, and once we got there, Mike and I decided to relax on the couch. I was still in a daze over the fact that we found our new house, and we were going to sign the papers tomorrow and get the keys. I wanted to call everyone I knew, and post it on Twitter, and do everything, but I was gonna do that tomorrow. I was laying against him as he ran his hands through my hair, Ludo was sleeping beside his thigh on the other side. I could have fallen asleep right there, but I figured I should stay awake.

On the way home, Mike brought up our anniversary that was a week ago.

"We need to do something since our anniversary was last week." He mentioned as we were at a red light.

"We did do something. You sent me flowers and I sent you nudes." I winked, half-joking. He did send me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers, but I did not send him nudes.

"No, like really do something. We should go out to dinner tonight and make it special. You know, to make up for me not being here on a big day for us."

"If you'd like, too. That sounds like fun. Just you and I. And then, we could bone when we get home."

"My thoughts exactly." He winked looking over at me. "Can you believe we've been together for a year? That's 365 days, Lucy! Well, now it's been 373 days, but you get what I mean."

"What a year. What a fast year I should say." I smiled as he grabbed my hand with his free one and squeezed it.

"Best year of my life."

I smiled as I thought back to just a few moments ago. "Where are we gonna go tonight, buggie?" I asked curiously.

"I have a place in mind, but I won't tell you." He winked, eyeing me slyly, then crashing on top of me with warm kisses all over my face. I was laughing insanely then stopped laughing when he purposely made his way to my neck, hungrily. I relaxed as his lips massaged my skin softly and slowly, sending waves of sensation through me. I let out a soft moan and I felt him smile on my neck as I did so. He picked me up, me wrapping my legs around his waist, and us going to our bedroom.

I mean after all, there was plenty to celebrate about in our lives. A new house, Pierce the Veil getting bigger and bigger as the seconds passed, so many people in our lives moving forward with theirs, and we were beyond happy with our jobs and most importatly, with each other.

I had one month to take all of the time that I had with Mike until he left again, and I wasn't gonna waste it.

Notes

This is just a filler. But, what are your thoughts on the whole PTV / OMM tour that is coming up in a month (in the story?) Do you think something will happen between Mike and Austin? And, Mike and Lucy just found their dream house and will start the process of moving in soon enough. Who's excited about what's in store for them?

Thank you guys so much for reading and everything, you know I love you with all I have for it :)

Xoxo,
Amber

@cosette_: I left that up to you and your imagination. I personally would have had them get married, but ultimately that is up to you. You can think up your own future that they had with each other and with their family and friends.

If they got married, had kids, if she made up with Austin. Their life, and everyone else's. Like Lynda and Brandon, or if she sees her parents again. You know?
