I'm currently sitting in the waiting area in the emergency room. The doctors looked at my head but they struggled, I kept pushing to get to Hope. She took a knife for me. My beautiful girl, took a knife for me. I wish he would've just got me. Her life is more precious then anything in this world. But I swear, if I see that fuckers face again, it'll be him that gets to be in the hospital. This is my fault. I shouldn't have let this happen.
The automatic doors opened to a worried Mike, Jaime, and Tony. "Hey how you holding up bro?" Mike put a reassuring hand on my shoulder. " I can't function. Like this doesn't feel real. I wish he would've stabbed me man...I wish it was-" I couldn't finish the sentence do to the tears spilling from my eyes. My hands were buried in my hands, I was crying uncontrollably. "Hey,hey! Sh. Vic it's okay, she's a fighter bro, she can do it. She took the knife for you because, she loves you. So much, and she knows you'd do the same. What you have to do is be strong for her. Because when she wakes up, she wants to see you happy, not sad. She loves you Vic, and if love concurs all. It'll be ok." Mike was rubbing my back while looking at my face in my now tear filled palms.
I whiled my red puffy eyes and face. " I wanna fucking kill that bastard for doing that to her." I said while clenching my fists an gritting my teeth. " Us too." Jaime said as he patted Tony's shaky knee. "Tone, you ok buddy?" I asked as tony looked at me with tears in his eyes. " Vic I could've done something. I was to busy beating the shit out of that guys friend, I could've gotten Hope out of the way, or helped you with that big guy I'm just so sorry." I of up and gave tony a tight hug an patted his back. "This is not your fault man. At all. If anything you helped so much. Thank you." Tony gave a nod and smile.
After ten minutes of waiting in silence, a nurse came out with a clipboard," Anyone here for Hope Harris?" My face immediately shot up. We all stood up. "I'm her boyfriend. How is she?" I ask hesitantly.
" Well, the knife was stabbed below the rip cage which caused some internal bleeding and damage to the lower abdomen. She will need surgery , but she is stable. You are very lucky Mr. Fuentes. She will go into surgery at 12:30, so you have a half hour with her." I smiled to myself. She's alive, and I get to hold her in my arms again. My world, just started moving again. Who am I kidding she is my world. "Can we go see her, is she awake?" Jaime asked concerned. "She is just waking up, you all may go see her." We all smiled and went to her room. They agreed that they want me to see her first, then I can send them in. I opened the door slightly to a silent room with only the sound of heart monitors, and air conditioners. I peak around the corner to see two very beautiful and familiar hazel eyes staring back at me. She yawned and stretched as I pulled a chair next to her. I grabbed her hand instantly and kissed it. " Well hello to you to Mr. Fuentes." She said in her cute sleepy voice. That's another thing I love about this girl. She can laugh at just about anything. " Don't scare me like that again, I-I thought I lost you." Her eyes filled with tears, she placed a warm kiss on my cheek," I'm not going anywhere baby. No blade, bullet, or knife. Couldn't compare to the pain of losing you." I kissed her with such passion, like we haven't seen each other in years. " I love you Vic. And I know you would've done the same for me." I moved a strand of hair that fell from her messy bun," I love you more than life Hope Harris, and baby you don't even know how much I wish that It was me, and not you." She kissed my forehead lightly. "The guys are here too! Ill send them in!" A huge smile planted on her lips, she loves her best friends. I opened the door to three crazy Mexicans running into the room. Mike had two bouquets of white roses, which were her favorite, tony had a giant bag of popcorn, which was her favorite snack, and Jaime came in with close to twenty stuffed animals and dropped them on the floor. " I missed you MY BABY!" Jaime yelled as he kissed her face all over and spoke in a Spanish accent. They all laughed, especially hope. Her eyes sparkled again and her laugh was music to my ears.
I wad leaning up against the wall in front of her bed. She was beautiful. She looked up from laughing and mouthed," I love you" to me. Which set my stomach in a swirl of happiness. She's the one, she's perfect, she's beautiful, she's alive, and she's mine. I stood here thinking for a while now. I knew what I had to do, it was time. It was now or never.
"Hey guys, I have to go but ill back later ok?" They all nodded and I kissed hope on the lips with as much passion as I could.
" actually we must sadly take her now for surgery." We said our "see you later's" and all kissed her. I bent down and kissed her forehead," I'll be back tomorrow to see your beautiful face ok? I love you so much. It'll be ok." She kissed my cheek and smiled," forever and always baby." I smiled and agreed," I couldn't agree more beautiful." They then wheeled my girl into the surgical center. I went into the waiting room where the guys were, smiling and laughing. We all knew she is ok, and will be ok. The nurse informed us it would be a smooth surgery, nothing serious.
"Hey guys I need to tell you something." There heads all shot up.
Here we go.

My mother out her hand on mine," are you sure son? Is this what you wanna do?" My mother asked with a sweet smile. "Yes." She smile wide and everyone had a smile. I extended my hand to Mr and Mrs Harris. "Mr. and Mrs. Harris?......"
