Queen For a Day
Introdution
I came out of the shower while I danced to my favourite Pierce The Veil song 'Stained Glass Eyes and Colorful Tears' I sadly had fresh new cuts on my inner thigh and a few on my wrist. Having been clean for 8 months, I broke down because of all of the stress from having to pay off my university loans and having a full time job as a psychologist.
I just had to to text Klaudia because of my urge for the next three days to fly bye! "Hey Klaud! How excited are you? Pierce the Veil in 3 days!" I texted while bumbling around my room getting ready for work.
I needed a few bracelets to hide my fresh cuts from my patient.
The thing I love about my job is I get to help people like me, I also get to have Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and sundays off. I work with teens ages ranging from 12-18 right now I am working with a boy named Owen he is only 15. It is so sad to see children with depression and anxiety it is crazy that 12 years ago I was in the exact same position as Owen.
The next 3 days flew by it was the day of the concert it was on a Friday night it was also out of town so Klaudia and I had to drive to San Diego. I get 3 weeks off because Owen is going on a vacation, I set him up with a psychologist and I gave him my cellphone number so he could get in contact with me at all times, I could never let him down, he has been getting better at trusting me but he has been hurt in the past too many times.
I was just so excited, to be going to see my favorite band! I had to take a while to get ready and dressed, I just had to look perfect for Vic. We get to stay in San Diego for a few days because neither of us have to work
Klaudia texted me "I will be outside of your house in ten minutes so be ready!"
Klaudia pulls up in my driveway, "Hey! I am so excited!" I yell to Klaud while running to her car.
"Hey Iris, hurry up! We don't want to be late bitch!" Klaudia shouted to me.
I jump in the car with all of my bags, Klaudia starts to play sleeping with sirens, "what? I don't want to wreck the momentum by listing to them now!" The one and a half hour drive went by so quickly.
We had to stand at the front of the line so we could get in first to be right at the front.
They opened the door, the flock of people ran like a creep was following them, we managed to get in right front and center. "Klaudia I am so happy! I just can't explain how excited I am!"
