Vics P.O.V

Hayley looked as though she was going to faint. I looked at her in shock as she doubled over in pain. Holy shit. I rushed to her side and I seen the blood coming from between her legs. She seen it too and passed out. Jenna ran out of the room to get help. Pretty much everyone ran into the living room, shocked and scared. Jeremy and Taylor ran to us and engulfed Hayleys body with hugs. "Come on, I'll drive you to the hospital" Cam spoke up and went outside to start up the car. "We'll come with you" Jeremy said as he pulled Taylor to his feet. "I'll come in the next car" Jenna said nervously. I nodded and decided to pick Hayley up.

I lifted her off the ground and stood up. As I done so suddenly the engagement ring box fell out of my pocket. Everyone looked at it shocked but no one said a word. Jenna picked it up and stuffed it back in my pocket. She then opened the door for me. I walked out with Hayley limp in my arms and over to the car. Jeremy opened the backseat door and I climbed in. Taylor jumped in the front and Jeremy was beside me. I held Hayley close to my chest.

"Come on baby, wake up" I continued to whisper. I didn't wanna risk her being out too long. Cam drove like a maniac down the highway. "Maybe you should slow down" Taylor spoke up. "Yeah, I can't do that. She needs to get to a hospital now guys, what if she bleeds out?" Cam said not taking his eyes off the road. "Just be careful" I muttered. Jeremy grabbed Hayleys hand and kissed it. I felt like this was my fault, like I should have watched her better.

Eventually we pulled up infront of a hospital. "You guys get her in there, I'll park the car" Cam said frantically. Taylor got out and opened the door for me. I slid out with Hayley close to my chest and Jeremy followed me. Cam drove off and we all ran into the hospital and up to the reception desk. "My girlfriend is pregnant and she passed out. She's bleeding and we don't know what to do" I said quickly and the nurse looked up. She picked up a phone and asked for two nurses. "The nurses will be here in a miniute" She said polietly. I thanked her and turned to face the doors where the nurses would come.

Within a minute the doors burst open and the nurses brought a stretcher out. I placed Hayley on it and began to follow them. One turned around and said. "I'm sorry sir but you can't go any further. We'll get you when we know what's wrong". I closed my eyes and groaned in anger. I turned to see Cam, Jenna, Tony, Mike and Jaime walk into the reception. "Is she in there?" Jenna asked with a worried look on her face. I nodded at her and began to pace. "Vic, sit down... she'll be fine" Mike tried to reason with me but no, it wasn't going to work this time. I walked over to the reception desk and the nurse looked up at me.

"Yes sir?" She asked. "Do you know anything yet?" I asked hopefully. "She will barely have even made it to the examination room by now. Please just go sit down and wait" She explained. "You have no idea how hard it is. She was bleeding out... I didn't know what to do" I said shaking my head. "I know sir, we'll do what we can" She smiled. "Do you have any idea what it could be?" I asked. "Not a clue. Sometimes things go wrong in pregnancies, they don't work out or they just can't handle the pressure... but sometimes a womans body just handles things differently from other pregnant woman. We'll find out okay. Go have a seat" She said pointing to where all my friends were. I nodded and thanked her.

I walked over to where Jeremy was sitting. His head was in his hands and he looked really torn up. I know she's my girlfriend but they are like brothers to her. Jeremy looked up when I sat next to him. "Hey" I said softly. "Hey" He replied. "How you holding up?" I asked. "Shouldn't I be asking you this?" He asked with a confused look on his face. I smiled softly. "I believe she'll be okay" I whispered hopefully. Jeremy stared off into space. "I always told her mom I'd keep her safe on the road. I would make sure she was okay and now look what's happened" He muttered. I patted his back in reassurance.

As the minutes turned to hours a doctor finally came back. "Hayley Williams" She called out. I ran up to her and she smiled softly. "I'm her boyfriend" I said quickly. "Okay... come with me, I'll explain everything" She said and turned. I followed her through the hospital and into a small office. She sat down behind a desk and motioned for me to sit down too. I did just that and she began to look through her chart. "So your girlfriend..."

Hayleys P.O.V

My eyes fluttered open and I was greeted by fluorescent lights and white walls. I heard beeping and what sounded lik a heart monitor. Then everything came flooding back to me. I tried to sit up but the pain in my stomach made it too difficult to succeed. I gave up and fell back down onto my pillow in defeat. Footsteps echord through the room and I tried to look for the source, the person came into view and my heart fluttered when I saw it was Vic. He looked like he had been crying.

"What's wrong?" I whispered. He closed his eyes and sat down on the edge of the bed. He didn't say anything as the minutes passed. "Vic... tell me what happened" I demanded. He turned his head and looked at me. Tears formed in his eyes and my heart began to beat so fast I swear you could hear it at the other side of the room. "You passed out so we brought you here. You were gone for hours and then finally a doctor came back. She told me what was wrong and I had to make a decision Hayley. A big one" He said as a tear fell down his face. "What...?" I asked, scared of the answer.

"There was a complication with the baby... it had only one lung and the heart wasn't developing as much as it should have by this point" He said shakily. My head felt dizzy. "If we left the pregnancy to continue, you would probably have died" He whispered. My eyes filled with tears and my heart couldn't take it. "I had to choose between the girl I love and my baby..." He said looking off into the distance.

I couldn't quite process the information. He let them take my baby out of me. "What were the chances?" I asked. "80% that you would die and even if the baby made it, he or she wouldn't have developed enough to live" He said frantically. I shook my head as tears fell down my face. "No... you... no" I choked on my tears and he tried to hug me but I pushed him away. "Get away from me" I screamed. "Hayley, I'm sorry" He pleaded. I didn't care... I just didn't. I shook my head anf told him to leave. He hung his head and done as he was told. My heart was breaking and there was nothing I could do. My baby was gone...
