RACHEL'S POV

'Why did you even unclip it?' I hissed as we waded through the water in search of my bikini top.

'I-It was a heat of the moment thing.'

'Oh god, what am I going to do?' I said, turning to face him. Our eyes met and we immediately burst into laughter - it was pretty funny, but the beer had something to do with it too. 'Shut up,' I giggled, 'we need a plan.'

'Seaweed bra?'

'Tony,' I pouted.

'Hey guys!' shouted Mike from the waters edge. Shit.

'Uh, hey man!' Replied Tony, I hid behind him as the water was pretty easy to see through - even from such distance.

Mike began to enter the water and I cringed as I heard him approach us, he must have been in at his waist.

'We're leaving now, that's everything packed up. You two coming?'

'Don't tell,' I mumbled.

Tony turned a little, 'I'm gonna have to,' he said quietly. 'Uh, Mike, we have a problem. Rachel's bikini top, uh, broke and we can't find it.'

'Broke,' he laughed, 'here, she can just put my top on.' Tony caught the large tank top and handed it to me.

'Dude, please don't tell anyone about this?'

'Sure, man. It broke, it was an accident, it will never be repeated.' It was obvious he wasn't buying our story, but we continued with it anyway.

I stepped out from behind Tony, 'thanks.'

We began to walk back to shore together and soon were wandering up the beach towards the others. I grabbed my towel and tried off as much as I could (Mike's top was soaking) before scrunching it up and wrapping a bobble around it so as to minimize the water that would build up in the car. Shoving it back in my bag, I pulled out some shorts and slid them on before lifting my belongings and heading back to the car.

Tossing my bag in the boot, I went round and sat back down in the backseat with Ricky. We pulled out on to the dirt track and within minutes he was fast asleep, head bouncing against the window. I looked out of the window and began to reflect on the day. You kissed Tony. You licked his stomach. Things got freaking hot out on the water. Shit, Rachel. You really do like Tony. After about 20 minutes of driving, my eyes began to feel heavy. I allowed them to fall and drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

'Home!' shouted Mike, his voice soon followed by the sound of a car door slamming shut. My eyes popped open and I groaned a little as I clambered out of the car.

Taking my bag from the boot, I was unsure of what to do next. Vic was leaving by himself, Kat and Chris had already left and Ricky was giving me another limp wave as he did so too. Sighing, I guessed that I too should just leave with no goodbye.

'Rae! Wait!' Shouted Tony, yanking his bag up and sprinting towards me. 'Can we talk a minute?' he said breathlessly.

'Sure.'

'You had fun today, right?'

'Yeah, it was great.'

'I was wondering if you'd let me take you on a date? I just- out there one the water, that's not what I usually do...'

'Me neither,' I laughed.

'So will you? I'll text you the details later?'

'Okay, yeah, I like the sound of that. Thanks for the awesome day, n'night.' I smiled at him and we shared a brief hug before I hurried across the grass and back to the dorms.

TONY'S POV

The day after the beach, on the way to Music, I informed Vic of my plan to take Rachel out.

'Where?' he asked.

'I was thinking that maybe I'd drive her up to the mountains.'

'Cool, I think she'd like that.'

Entering the class, I smiled at Rachel who was tapping her notepad with her pen as she glanced around the room. I took to my seat and pulled out my phone.

To: Rae
If you're free after class today, I was thinking we could go to the mountains?

From: Rae
I'd love to. Now stop texting me before we get in trouuble!


Smiling at her reply, I slid my phone back into my pocket and the professor took to his feet moments later, fiddling with the whiteboard pen before sprawling some composition name across the poorly cleaned board.

RACHEL'S POV

Entering the apartment, I was shocked to find Beth sitting with Alex and Jack.

'Hey,' she said, the two boys' eyes fixed on me.

'Alright?'

'Yeah, yourself?'

'Yeah, I'm good. Are you going to the bar tonight?'

'Yep, are you coming? Please come!'

'No, I have a date.' As I began to unload my books, I looked at Alex's face and he stared back in shock.

'Who with?' he blurted.

'Tony Perry,' I stated, biting my lip.

'Ohh,' chuckled Jack, 'how did you get forced into that one?'

'I didn't. He's nice, and doesn't think I'm a- what was it? Tight little bitch? Something like that.'

'That's cause he's one too,' laughed Alex.

'Babe, have you even had any action since we started college? If you haven't, there's no way I'm letting you go tonight. You need to have fun!'

'Yeah, course I have! Don't be silly,' I replied. I pulled out some fresh clothes and my makeup bag before going into the toilet. I reapplied my makeup, curled my hair and changed into my clothes - a band top, skinny jeans and Vans - before exiting the bathroom.

'The fuck are 'The Amity Affliction'?' asked Jack.

'A band,' I said calmly.

'Oh shit,' said Alex into his palms, 'she's an emo kid in a woman's body.'

'Fuck off,' I retaliated. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. I grabbed my phone off the bed, making my way over to the door as I shoved it in my pocket. I opened it to reveal a similarly dressed Tony.

'Hi,' I smiled. 'Oh, keys!' I exclaimed, leaving the door open and rushing back to my bed.

'You must be Tony,' began Beth, I began to worry as they all focused on him and my keys were nowhere to be found.

'Yeah,' he replied, leaning against the door frame.

'Still spreading lies, Perry?' hissed Alex.

'Drop it,' he said, 'everyone knows you cheated.'

'Hear this Jack? Fuck sake, it was only because you were in love with her.'

'I wasn't in love with her,' he replied, being cut off by Alex as he coughed and said 'friend zoned'. 'I was looking out for a friend,' he stated.

'So, if I consider Rachel my friend and I find out you've been a bad boy, can I tell on you?' he joked.

'Go for it.'

'Found them!' I shouted, leaping up and rushing over to Tony. 'Bye,' I said to Beth before pushing my out and slamming the door shut. 'See, arseholes.'

'It's okay,' he said with a soft tone.

'It's not.'

'Let's just go,' replied Tony, lacing our hands together. We went out to the car park and headed in the direction of Tony's truck. It was large, black and had a bunch of things underneath a waterproof sheet that was over the back.

'What's in the back?' I asked as we climbed in.

'You'll see.'

Pulling out of the car park, we were on the road for around half an hour before the mountains came into sight. With the sound of The Story So Far filling the car, we barely spoke until we reached the car park that Tony was stopping at.

'Come on,' he said, smiling furiously at me.

I got out the car and went to the back of the truck as he did. Lifting off the over, there was a blanket, a basket and a pillow underneath. There was also a tire and ropes, but I was assuming they weren't part of the date.

He picked up all of the items and I followed him as he wandered through a path littered with pine trees. We fought the branches as we strolled through the woods, eventually coming to a clearing.

'Here,' he said, laying out the blanket. He opened the box and pulled out a cupcake,handing it to me, before taking one out for himself. 'Vic makes great cakes, it's crazy,' he smiled. Taking his word for it, I bit into the cake and instantly found myself wanting more. The icing was just right and the cake itself was spongy and not dry in the slightest.

'Good isn't it?'

'Mhmm,' I mumbled, trying to keep it in my mouth.

'Tell me some things I don't know about you,' he began, resting his weight on his hands.

'Um, I love wolves - they're my favorite animal. I really liked that cupcake. I love the colour blue. I love music more than anything else. You go.'

'My real name is Cesar Antonio. I'm in a band with Vic, Mike and Jaime called Pierce The Veil. I like swimming and surfing. I hate seafood.'

'A band? That's awesome,' I said. 'Have you played anywhere?'

'Yeah, we have. Actually, after this year of college we might be going on tour. There's a label wanting to sign us now.'

'Tony!' I exclaimed, throwing my body on top of his and pinning him to the ground. 'Why have you never told me this?'

'I just didn't,' he grinned. 'You look beautiful tonight.'

I pressed my lips against his in an innocent kiss. His hands took hold of mine and the kiss deepened slightly. 'God, Rae,' he smiled, pulling away. 'How do you even manage it?'

'Manage what?'

'I've never been so turned on so fast by any girl in my life, I'm usually a gentleman. I usually wouldn't ever do what we did in the water with a girl I've know for less than a month!'

'Well, it's not really my fault. You are the one who stripped down and went in the water.'

'I also lost your bikini top,' he mumbled against my lips.'I didn't want to go far tonight, I wanted it to be romantic, but I literally can't stop myself.' He pressed his soft lips against mine and within what seemed like seconds our tongues were tangled. His hands had a tight grasp on my bum and I was cupping his gorgeous face.

Rolling over, he straddled me and began to place a trail of kisses down my neck. I groaned as one of his hands slid up my top and began to massage my boob. His other hand found it's way down my trousers and soon I was moaning in his mouth as he pleasured me like no other ever had.

'Tony, it's getting really dark,' I whispered.

'I know,' he sighed, rolling off me and linking our hands. 'I guess we should start heading back...'

Picking up the blanket, we folded it and put it in the basket along with the uneaten food. I picked up the pillow and we began to head back down. As the sun fell behind the hills, it grew dark at a rapid pace. Picking up speed, I suddenly stumbled on a rock as I wasn't watching my feet.


Tumbling to the ground, I winced in pain as I tried to touch my ankle. I looked down at it to see a bone sticking out where it previously as not. 'Fuck! Tony!' I screamed. Falling to his knees, his jaw dropped at the sight.

'Shit,' he said 'we need to get you to hospital.'
